    Thanks @oliver17
Feedback is reassuring, yeah, its on an off-cut alley & appears a tad secluded. Might book the premier suites for a couple of nights. 5-7 minutes moto ride from either Cindy's or CIB.

I stayed there back in 2019. As seen on pics below with Pao & JJ, they are 100% ladyboy friendly and you can take more than one ladyboy to your room with no questions asked.
It has a funky steampunk decor that I liked but it may not be everybody's taste. The overall vibe is almost seedy, but the property is spotless and  the rooms are very comfortable. The beds were extremely comfortable for a mid-priced BKK hotel. It has no pool. The bar / restaurant serves cold beer and pub food on the front patio but there are better dining options right around the corner at Terminal 21 which is about a 5 minute walk from the hotel.
The side soi it's located on between soi 19 and Asok is pretty quiet. Directly across the street is an exotic car dealer who has Ferraris, McLarens and Bentleys on display. At the intersection of the Fusion Suites soi and soi 19 is a laundry. They're good but as I recall they do not offer same day service. I don't know if there are other laundries in the area.

    Hi,
stayed there already 3 trips this year, 4th also booked there.(December)
usually book the suites, so that i dont have the noise from the hallway when want to sleep out.
No issues bringing in a LB or even 2. Staff is friendly, rooms are clean.
minus is that the internet is not always top speed.
pool is still there and nice to relax.
No info on the jacuzzi bath.
    enjoy your stay !

I have a trip coming up very soon and I was considering this place. I hope somebody who has stayed there recently can offer their thoughts.
I stayed there many times when it was Phachara Suites and had some of my most rewarding LB adventures there with Sofie and Jam when they were new on the scene (see below) and several others.  It really did offer the best combo of location, large comfortable suites, huge balconies, jacuzzi bathtubs and a quality pool. I hope things have not changed. Thanks in advance.

Yeah, agreed. Airlines are making so much profit over a huge uptake in travel and they're milking money with what they're charging for flights.

Thai Airways re-scheduled my flight from Singapore to Bangkok on Christmas Eve and unfortunately that re-scheduled flight wouldn't had worked for me as I'd miss the flight once I arrive in Singapore.

So I have to take a later flight (so stuck in Singapore for a bit longer) so instead of arriving at 6pm on Christmas Eve, I arrive at 10.30pm in the evening. It wasn't my plan to arrive in Bangkok too late in the evening for the Christmas parties.

Not as bad as Knobby's experience with Air China though.

The nicest hotel I saw mentioned in this thread is the Landmark, and it is an upscale place but it really doesn't cost much more than mid-range hotels like Mercure or Adelphi (one of my own favorites).
Of course, everybody has their own budget, money certainly doesn't go on trees and it's dumb to waste your hard-earned cash. But if you are going to spend time, money and effort travelling halfway around the planet for a vacation of several weeks, you need to spend enough to make it a pleasant and trouble free experience. Nothing can make your vacation more miserable than being trapped in a crummy hotel that you chose for no other reason than to save a few baht over a nicer place.

I use them because they split colours and whites. Wash at 30degrees and don’t mix with other customers. Offer ironing as well. (I’m a bit anal about laundry  )

Thank you. Am staying at the Park Plaza (@Asok bts)  in a couple of months and I am looking for a good laundry service.
A washer/dryer in the room means I don't have to bring that many change of clothes. BKK's high humidity is a real pain.
    Thanks again.

On Soi 11, the Solitaire is pretty good. I last stayed there in early 2020 right before Covid struck, and a renovation of the hotel had just been completed. Their beds are gigantic. I don't know what you call that size, but they are noticeably larger than king-size. I had a 3-some there with my girl and Nan from CIB, and we could have easily accommodated a 3rd LB.
Another option is Radisson Suites on Soi 13. The rooms are large and the housekeeping is meticulous. On the roof is a very good, quiet and uncrowded pool along with a full bar.  Relaxation-wise, you just can't beat a quiet hotel pool with a bar and bartender. The Indian restaurant downstairs serves upscale cuisine with a touch of elegance. I like that place.

You may want to reconsider before having an LB sneak around with you to avoid being seen by other people. Think about what that says to a ladyboy: That you are embarrassed by her and don't want to be seen with her. I know that's not the message you to convey, but that's what she is going to think. It will get you off on the wrong foot with her and put a damper on things for the rest of the night.
Soi 11 is crawling with hookers. Cindy's Bar is a stones throw away from the Mercure. Every hotel and hotel worker in lower Sukhumvit has seen guys with girls and ladyboys 10 million times. They expect to see it and they don't care.  As for other hotel guests, if they have issues with LBs, that's their problem and not yours. You don't know any of them from Adam's housecat, so who cares what they think?
Don't be afraid to be seen with ladyboys. Every BM here (at least the ones who actually visit Bangkok) will tell you the same thing. If you treat LBs with common respect like you would any other friend, they will love you for it. It will mean a lot to them and it will pay off for you in the future. Take my word on this.

On Soi 11, chances are you won't see any families with kids.
In hotels that attract Arab families, kids are running up and down hallways without adult supervision around the clock even in the wee hours. They don't misbehave - they are actually quite well behaved - but they apparently don't have conventional bedtimes like they would in the West. It's simply a cultural difference. Those hotels are mostly in the Arab quarter proper rather than Soi 11.
A few years back as I was leaving Nana Plaza, I spotted a young farang family with pre-school children and a stroller at the entrance trying to enter NEP.  I guess they were attracted by the bright lights and wanted to see what was inside. The security guys jumped up out of their chairs, stopped them immediately and then had a chat with the parents. I didn't hear what was said, but I did see the mom's eyes open really wide while she was listening. That was probably when they realized Bangkok is a questionable choice for a family vacation.

thanks for this, forums are great to get a different perspective of things.
I think you are absolutely correct with this and I hadn’t considered it. Also agree about the hotel workers and couldn’t care what the old couple from the chattering classes think.
I was focussing on the  situation with families around etc. wanted to minimise the case of running into a family while I’m with  with an obvious sex worker. Not that I’m paranoid per se, just wouldn’t want to be causing undue questions. “Hey daddy why’s that girl got man’s bits” etc. but I guess the flip side of that is families shouldn’t be in the red light zone.
again thanks for the views it’s really helpful

You now have 23 likes Oliver, but I gave my like not for the well worded post, but for all the pics of your beautiful dining companions!
I agree with the advice the BM's have given here.  I stayed at the Mercure (thank you for this review Bwana) and on my first night I ran into the bellboy who helped me with my luggage when I arrived.  He asked me "Where do you go tonight sir?" and I responded "Cindy's Secrets" which got me a big smile and thumbs up from him.
I enjoyed chatting with the girls from reception when they were not with guests...especially Beem and Cherry...they are real sweethearts.  They would tease me about my carousing...not because I was bringing back ladyboys, but just good natured banter in general.
I never got any dirty looks from the other guests or the staff there bringing back girls.  Quite the opposite...the staff were always very polite and respectful towards my companions and the other guests were usually jealous, haha.

Going through the parking garage is not an option. In the evenings the lobby is rarely very busy (most of the action is in the bar/restaurant to the right of the lobby). The elevators are located BEFORE you reach the check-in area.
If you go to the check-in desks they will ask, and if a girl arrives unaccompanied she will have to leave her ID before they will send her up in the elevator, but if you come in and walk straight to the elevators, they might not even see you. I skip the desk when I'm with a girl I know well from one of the bars. If with a freelancer I use the desk.
