Just got off the phone with KLM and all vouchers issued from March 3rd 2020 are extended to 31st December 2021. As mine was the 4th March I’ve made it by one day  
Here’s hoping Thailand is back open for tourists without quarantine by then.

Yes if and when we can all travel we need to watch the flight prices.
On the one hand, they could go sky high ( see what I did there) as airlines try and get some money back, or they could do some deals to get people back to travelling.
Same goes for hotel prices and travel insurance.

Yeah I was thinking the same about having to top it up if the prices go sky high or I may use it for a multi trip around Europe in September when my niece gets married as she lives and works in Ibiza. I looked at a trip Manchester-Amsterdam-Madrid-Ibiza-Amsterdam-Manchester £425 and use the remainder for upgrades for leg room

I got budget for a very  good 2 weeks short blast of a balls-out trip and yes having a flight already paid for is good. (unless the prices go up that much and I have to top it up)

Yea I got credit and its still got another year on it.
I just fancied getting the money back is all.

I couldn’t get my money back but happy they extended the credit to 31st December 2021 Bit of luck I’ll have Christmas in Bangkok or Pattaya 

I got an answer from the card company.
It's No. Fuck it 
Looks like I waited to long.
Oh well I got another year so will now have to sit and wait.

The other thing I noted from Sticks column was he talked about Scala Cinema near Siam Square closing,
I was sad to see it go but it was inevitable. I went to see films there a few times, it really had the feel of going to the UK Cinema in the 80s. No computer system for ticketing, they'd just cross off the seats on a sheet of paper. Popcorn for 40B and older style seating. Luckily Bangkok has about 684 soulless multiplexes to choose from instead. 

The league as not been cancelled as of yet. Might here something this coming week. Fingers crossed we get promotion 
 

North East is really suffering mate....anyway, on a positive front the Germans are back playing and if that goes well we will be close behind!
I presume vanarama have declared the league void? Still find it shocking seeing Notts county, Hartlepool, and Barnet at this level now.

I am currently staying here and it is excellent. I am paying 2,460 baht a night for a one bedroom apartment (I booked direct with them), which I think is pretty good. The standard rooms were about 235 baht a night less, but I felt that it was worth paying the extra for more space. No problem bringing one guest back at night. I have not tried bringing back more than one person at a time, so don't know if that would be an issue. Overall, I think the price quality ratio is very good right now, and Check-In Bar is just a five minute walk away.

Bullys.... love the food there, though missed the succulent lamb chops after they were taken off the menu. Pub grub dose what it says on the tin
(Barry) Fitzgerald’s formerly Hanrahans.... Like fact you can build your own breakfast there and they do a mean bacon butty as well. Plus it’s good to chill outside having a cigarette & a coffee
