Copy the recommendation! The last time I visited was in February this year, together with Yaya from Cindy's! Great food, very reasonable priced and both Yaya and myself loved it! During my visits in May and August I've stayed in hotels opposite, or around the corner of Swan in Soi 4, so it's obvious why I didn't end up at I'm Aroi ... especially considering the absence of the Cambodian delegation at Cindy's Secrets -
Think of the Kinnaree restaurant in the Grand Business Inn further along soi 11. I'm Aroi has similar food, but it is less cost. Maybe they pass the savings of no AC along to the customers? SAG

Sounds as though it is worth a try. I suppose they have nonspicy food that a boring old fart could eat?

The owner of I'm Aroi is the same as Charm Thai restaurant (https://maps.app.goo.gl/a34EF7dsLgGUQ2kc6) which shares the same open fronted unit as Cat bar (also same owner) on Soi 7/1. I didn't eat there but it looked similar in style to I'm Aroi so worth considering for reasonably priced thai grub while oggling the Cat bar ladyboys.
