    Citadines soi 8 & 11 (updated 2014)

I stayed at both the Soi 11 and then Soi 8 locations for around 3-4 nights each recently. I would say you get good value for money, and if I had to choose I would go for the Soi 11 location despite the street noise simply because I found the Soi 8 location too far down the way (and I couldn't get the tuk tuk to collect me using Line!). The gym at each location was pretty basic, but good enough for a decent workout. That said, it's unlikely that I would book either of these again as I think there are better options for the same or marginally higher prices that make up for either the street noise (Soi 11) or distance to the action (Soi 8). For Soi 11 I would go for the Mercure every time, especially as they always put me at the back of the building where its quiet. But as @Denbosch1971 points out in the review above, for a long stay you get a big room for a reasonable price, but don't expect 5 star quality.

    Hyatt Regency

Just to add to this, I stayed here for five nights at the end of my recent trip. It was my first stay at this particular Hyatt hotel and it was very good. I had a standard room and found it to be a good size and well laid out; the fixtures and fittings were in good condition; big and comfortable bed with nice bedding, and for they also took account of my request for plenty of towels (I just need to shower more in the heat and I also have guests!). The room service team were responsive and excellent too. I didn't bother with breakfast or go to the restaurant area with all the options available locally, but they had a pretty decent gym, but could do with dumbells heavier than 20kgs but at least you can load the machines up more. The pool area is nice to chill, especially in the evening and I even spotted a video games corner if you're into that too. I went up to the rooftop bar twice. The first on my own where I used a discount voucher I was given when I checked in. The staff gave me an extra discount on a second drink without asking, and the second time with a LB guest. The staff there were nothing but polite, respectful and always helpful. Front desk and concierge were excellent, and of course absolutely no issue with bringing back guests. Sure its pricey, but its in a great location and while it wouldn't be my 'primary' hotel its definitely somewhere I would go if I wanted a bit more luxury.

Maybe so but it’s free and I don’t imagine the mods make a baht giving up their time to give us a space to share our ‘unique’ interests!

What a load of rubbish. I have answered you three times before on two other topics on here when you asked. You were asked for some more info to help you out but you have not provided it. Happy to help out but you keep ignoring the posts so please don't complain you have had no help offered when you have been asked 3 times already and you continually ignore said posts. thanks

    Landmark or Adelphi Suites

Let's face it, the most influential business model in Thailand is the Ping Pong Show.

    Landmark or Adelphi Suites

I'd definitely look for any alternative to the Landmark, as they are total muppets, or at least think we are. Looking at a quick trip either end of the month or early next. Checked Landmark and saw that they have a "Book 2, Get 1 night FREE" deal for July, which was quite enticing. Selected the dates, selected "Premium Corner Room" @ THB4,733 per night, which is pretty much standard pricing for that room, but a great deal when you're getting a 3rd night free. I hit "Reserve Now" just to check that it's valid and lo and behold, it's a bit of a scam. Night 1 = THB7,100 Night 2 = THB7,100 Night 3 = FREE! So all they've done is total up what they normally charged for three nights (THB4,733 x 3 = THB14,199) and then divide that into two nights. Scumbags.

Answering my own question here… seems like a problem between the site and gmail (or at least some gmail accounts). I updated the email on my account here to a brand new yahoo email address and the notifications started flowing in. Now I can’t change it back to a gmail address though as the activation-email you need for that doesn’t come through either of course. It’s not caught in the spam folder, the messages get lost somewhere before Google deposits them in the mailbox Problem with the smtp sender reputation of bangkokladyboys.net?

    Mercure Soi 11 Review

Interesting, I will bear that in mind. I do like the Mercure, I was very impressed with the front of house staff.

    Mercure Soi 11 Review

I'm not sure why one would book through Agoda. I have an upcoming trip and checked both with Agoda and directly with Mercure. For the same setup (Deluxe King, advance payment, no breakfast) Agoda charges $138/night all in, Mercure charges $121.25/night all in. I've almost always found booking directly with the hotel a better deal than through any of the consolidator companies. I've also done the same comparison for another hotel I'm considering (the Samala Hotel on Soi 15) and Agoda is closer to the Samala direct price but still a bit more expensive.
  18. Perhaps I’ve missed something obvious but I’m not getting any emails from this forum such as notifications or daily digest emails for threads I’m following. The settings in my account look ok and are similar to other forums where I use the same functionality. Is this not enabled on the bkklb forum or does it only work for users after a certain number of posts? Ta

Never use the expat sites, they are overpricing things, If you come often and stay like for one month or more, look for a place beyond Ekkamai, prices are half I have a condo in Bangchak area (one station after Onnut) 8 minutes away from Nana with BTS 60m² with pool and gym and I pay 15000/month - there are small ones from 30m² available for 6 months or one year ar prices between 8500 to 10000THB per month https://propertyhub.in.th/en/listings/regent-home-sukhumvit-97-1-fully-furnish-special-price-ask-more-info-lineofficial-promptyou3---3439682 just an example, 8500/month is like 3 hotel night or less in just a decent hotel

LB putting your tip in bare?

If she put you halfway inside her ass and you pulled out quickly, you really shouldn't spend much time fretting about it. Slightly different matter if she shoved her bare cock in your ass. If it's a brief in and out, probably nothing to worry about unless it was very rough and painful. As most know, the virus needs a pathway to your bloodstream. Being a bottom and taking it bare is a much bigger risk than being a top and giving it bare, although the latter still presents some risk. Anal tissue tears much more easily than penile tissue, so the virus has an easier path to your system. Reduce the risk: 1) Always have condoms with you. Never assume the LB will have any, and if she does they may be too small, and a too small condom is a condom that is both uncomfortable and is more likely to break. 2) Lube is your friend. Lube means a lower likelihood of tissue tearing and lower risk of a condom breaking. 3) PrEP is an option if you have a very low tolerance for risk, drink until you're drunk and don't trust your judgment, and/or you bottom very frequently. As a top, I don't mess with the PrEP drugs. They're pretty strong, and lots of guys have somewhat unpleasant side effects. If an accident happens and you're anxious, get tested. The problem with testing is you won't have results until it is too late to prevent infection. The earliest you're likely to test positive if infected is 10 days after exposure. For the prevention drugs to work, you have to start them within three days of the exposure. If you're really anxious, start a course of Post-Exposure Prophylaxis treatment (link below) immediately. https://www.hiv.gov/hiv-basics/hiv-prevention/using-hiv-medication-to-reduce-risk/post-exposure-prophylaxis I've had two broken condom accidents. In both cases I inspected myself, saw no indication of tearing or lesions, so I washed up thoroughly and carried on. I do test every few years and have always been negative and have always assumed that would be the case. Getting infected is not as easy as some people think. If you practice rough sex and are a bottom, and have lots of partners into the same thing, sure...you're at risk. But the occasional slip, even if that slip means getting topped by a LB who cums in your ass, is probably not going to be the end of you. She'd have to be positive, not using PrEP or being treated for HIV and thus shedding virus, and you'd have to have some tearing of tissue. Odds are fairly low all that happens. Stay calm and carry on.

    Laser hair removal

I shaved my ear hairs a few months ago, and bloody hell it's been like a ape growth of hair there now. Would look to get some laser done around that area.

    anal every day? how?

Alot of ladyboys when active tend to stick to a liquid diet. Hence why many are so thin. The bigger variety who do eat, tend to be very thorough with their cleansing immediately before doing the deed. Still some risks as shite can still push down after the clean if you wait too long. Of course you have rotters who literally don't care about getting shite on your stick.

LB putting your tip in bare?

Without naming anyone I've had a few experiences with girls from the lounge bars who were willing to go bareback with me if I didn't mention condoms. So yeah use protection guys

Any reason you don't use an agent? They get their fee from the owner and will find you condos that you might not knew about. Post a message in one of the many fb-groups and be very specific about the following: From which date, rental length (nobody will contact you for less than 12 month rent), budget, sqm, rooms, facilities, old/new, distance to MRT/BTS. The reason for 1y contract: - The owners don't want the hassle of finding new tendents any given month. Many have several condos for rent and are business minded (busy). - The agents gets 1month fee of the 12month rent and that works as a motivation for finding the correct one. Plenty that wants a 50k fee. Sometimes they will share the fee with another agent if that specific agent has the condo you want. If you´re not confortable posting in fb check the many YT videos from agents reviewing condos in the Sukhumvit area and reach out to them. It is free for you anyway. Tip: There is often room to negotiate on price, or add/change things that you want in the condo. A Thai agent will actually be a better negotiater than you most of the time since westerns can be a bit too direct and that's not how Thai culture works.
