Iran conflict: Thailand Travel Update  

I'm thinking of staying in this hotel but going by the pics it appears there is nowhere to sit except the edge of the bed or the desk chair.  Even in the best rooms all I see is acres of floor space and very little furniture. Is this the case?

Mark Weins did the same place 6 years ago, so it's definitely a long established place.    

Looks like some great choices and fantastic value. As a word of caution I would be very wary of pre-heated food outside where temperatures can't be regulated.

Nope.  All closed since Nana Plaza reopen.  They never reopen after Covid.  All the shop houses are gogo bars now.  
  I heard it was because the Superintendent of Lumpini Police District told the Plaza owners they can’t reopen.  If it was that or the Plaza owners themselves wanting to follow the law a little closer who knows. The two closest short time rooms are those in Nana hotel and those above what was Las Vegas quasi gogo on soi 4.  Not sure what it’s called now, street level is now a beer bar type deal after the failed almost gogo but upstairs is/was/will be short time rooms.
