I've stayed at City Lodge before, which was fine. Had a few nice STs in there. Good price, great location. My room wasn't noisy (apart from when my guests were visiting). I have a couple of days booked there again soon, happy to revisit again after my last experience.

If I recall, it's a 10kg for the overhead, plus an under seat bag with no weight limit. No meal, I'm not a lover of airline catering. I'll be stuffing myself in the lounge before I leave and will have some bits and pieces with me for the flight if I get peckish, but I usually fit all my meals into a 8 hour window and then nothing for the other 16, so it pretty much fits into my normal routine.

I paid 400 return!!! That is for cattle truck class with carry on (easy for me as I travel light, but may not work for everyone). It was so cheap I booked pretty much instantly, even though I was already flying out in just a few weeks at a much higher price. At that price it was worth racking it up for the following year, which has finally just about rolled around... My mate has done long haul with them elsewhere and said the value proposition is unbeatable.

I'm flying with them in a few weeks. I booked best part of a year ago when they had just announced the route and the prices were incredibly low. A friend has flown a different route with them and was happy with the experience if that helps...

I've stayed here before maybe 18 months ago. Decent price for the location, rooms are fine for bringing guests back, it's often used as ST location, so very much guest friendly. Decent enough pool on the roof. I spent some time during the days on a lounger by to pool working from my laptop, much nicer than working from my room. You'll find a selection of LBs directly out front in the evening looking for business, and there is the famous Thermae Bar directly below if you want some GG action. LBs are not allowed in the bar, hence they tend to gather out front. Very close to CiB 10 too, and a relatively short walk past the throngs of "Wassup bro, want some stuff?" guys to the rest of our bars. And of course loads more choice in both directions along Sukhumvit.

I've stayed at Atlas on Soi 7/1. They have 2 sites down there, I ended up in the one a little further up on the right hand side. No check in to pass at that site so very discreet (they do have a check in desk at the site on the left hand side btw), and it's right onto the street for action outside. Good price, clean, great location. A bit noisy late at night, so light sleepers may find it a bit much. Also stayed at Ruamchitt Plaza. Again, great location (above Thermae) - very short walk to CiB, lots of options right outside in the evenings etc... A little more pricey than Atlas, but again clean and great location. Much quieter at night too. Plus they have a pool on the roof. Personally I preferred this as an option overall. Both are decent options that won't break the bank, so more to spend on this hobby
