What would you choose? Both bookings are with free cancellation until a couple of days before the start. I have been in both hotels several times and liked it there very much. I am returning guest in both hotels. The doormen in Landmark know me by my first name and greet me with "Welcome back Mr N" when I arrive. Landmark hotel on Sukhumvit Road in Bangkok for 7 nights (room only, no breakfast), queen size bed, room 30m², for 716 €. Adelphi Suites on Soi 8 for 7 nights (room only, no breakfast), king size bed, room 48m², for 810 €. Thanks in advance for your opinion.

You do not need to know about the short-time hotels, since the girl or the ladyboy whom you barfined knows them pretty well and will guide you there. However, the best "short-time" room is your hotel room and this for several reasons: You are in your own environment, on your own playground. You can put your valuables into a safe and therefore they are protected from potential theft. If something happens, the ID card of your guest is at the hotel reception and you have more possibilities to start an action against her. This also discourages your guest from potential theft or aggressive behavior. The main problem with short-time rooms is their (lack of) hygiene, whereas your room is certainly cleaner. Do not be afraid of the hotel personnel at the reception when you bring a guest, whether it is a genetic girl or a ladyboy. They have seen it all several times and do not care what you do with your guest in your room.

I was never in Royal Suites, but stayed both in Citrus Suites and Adelphi Suites. I always book a larger room: One Bedroom Suite in Adelphi and One Bedroom Executive Suite in Citrus. Both are approximately at the same price: 3200-3300 baht per night now (it was at 2500 before). Both are large (50-60 sq meters) and good for taking photos (important for me), since the walls are painted white and the furniture is in light colors. Both hotels are in the same category: 4 star hotels. Adelphi is on Soi 8 and more easily accessible for taxis. Taxi drivers do not like to go to the Soi 6 hotels, as Citrus Suites of Park Royal, because they get stuck in the Soi 4 mess in front of Nana. Citrus and Park Royal are closer to Why Not and Nana Plaza, but the walk through Soi 6 from Adelphi is not very longer. Adelphi is closer to Check-In and Cindy's Secrets. When you book a room in Citrus Suites, ask for a NON-LEAKING shower. Many of them are leaking and create a flood on the floor of the bathroom. Both Adelphi and Citrus are frequented by the same clientele: half of them are families, the other half are mongers, many of them taking ladyboys. Unless you come with a ladyboy in the afternoon or early evening, you do not cross the families anyway and if it sometimes happens, you do not need to worry about it. The staff in both hotels is ladyboy-friendly and they have seen it all. However, if you had an ass-penetration accident in your room (shit happens ), do not forget to give the housekeeping a tip. They are paid for standard cleaning of your room, not for cleaning of this kind of mess. Both hotels do not enforce the LB to leave her ID / passport at the reception. However, it is for your own protection. If something happens, you have much better options if your misbehaving LB left his ID downstairs. You have more good options for dinner on Soi 8, therefore Adelphi is a better choice in this category. Also ladyboys, at least those from Check-In and Cindy's, prefer going to Adelphi Suites. Before I prefered to stay in Landmark, which is a 5-star upscale hotel, but they started to ask silly prices, therefore I changed to Citrus and later to Adelphi. If you want to impress your LB and you have the money, definitely go for Landmark. Do not compare Adelphi Suites in Bangkok with Adelphi Suites in Pattaya. Adelphi Suites in Pattaya is hardly a 3-star hotel. I would consider it a 2-star hotel. I was there once and considered that I made a booking blunder. Book a room in Adelphi Suites in Pattaya ONLY IF you are on a tight budget.

It is on Soi 2. I have been there a decade ago. It has big rooms. That is its prime advantage. Now, with the passage between Soi 2 and Soi 4 closed, it lost its significance.

Do not worry. I was in Landmark now from October 11 till 16, 2023. I was not bothered by any noise. The work is done in what was the restaurant downstairs and Huntsman Pub in the basement.

I was there some 10 years ago. Since now is the passage between Soi 2 and Soi 4 closed, the hotels on Soi 2 lost their significance.

I remember a scene in the lift in the Landmark hotel some years ago with may exSO. An arabic couple was in the lift with us. The man stood in front of her wife so that she could not see the ladyboy I was with and prevented her from being "hit by the vice" this way.

Not sure what would happen if you showed up with a 6 ft glamazon in a sequin dress. I did exactly that several times. Absolutely nothing happened.

Thanks for the review. The hotel underwent a major renovation and changed names. I stayed there several times before renovation. The location is excellent for Cindy's Secrets and in general for the action on Soi 11.

I stayed so many times in Landmark that they give me now a free upgrade each time I come. I had a corner room at the top floor (29 I think) for 2200 baht in May 2022.

Landmark ! Hands down.

Yes it is. I stayed there in May 2022. Took tons of ladyboys from CIB and Cindy's to my room. Absolutely no problem.
