That sounds like work and I hate work at the moment which is my reason for posting here instead. Seriously though, if you asked me for a list of restaurants and bars in Bangkok 4 years ago my answers would have been much more limited. It's not really that surprising when I consider how much spare time is gained when not almost entirely focused on chasing LBs and girls. A good example is that if you'd asked me back then about breakfast places I might have laughed as the only reason for leaving bed before mid afternoon was badly planned early flight or heading off to a blowjob bar before returning to sleep. Nowadays, half the good places I eat at in Bangkok are open and closed early at around the time I'd not long have returned from the bars each night when focused on p4p. If I realistically knew no more than 2% of the city during my mongering days that's only increased to a generous maximum of 10% so while I stand by my recommendations there's very little chance that they're the best options or even if there's such a thing as the best. Bangkok is just much too big to keep track of anyway. That's why I don't get bored just by going to new parts of town to explore either based on whatever I've read on the internet or just going somewhere at random to see what can be found. Also, learning Thai and having a Thai Mrs helps hugely of course. Your Thai is coming along well isn't it? Have you started looking for recommendations in Thailand yet? I honestly find it overwhelming but my Thai is still not great at all and online translation isn't the best always. -

This sound very interesting, have had to check it out as I'll be keen to go somewhere like that but unfortunately they've closed down back in 2024. The website is still active though so maybe they plan to return. I'm always interested in recommendations for good Indian places in Bangkok but not the newer breed of fancy high-end Indian places more about Instagram and Michelin fine dining bullshit than actual good food, unfortunately there's too many of those opening up recently in Bangkok IMO. It's been a while since my last visit to these 2 but I'd recommend Indus on Soi 26 and Punjab Grill on Soi 13 as alternatives. I've had good meals at both of those but at Indus my first meal really stood out. It's not fancy like the Ministry of Crab (very good but can be pricey, a good date choice BTW) but the food is absolutely delicious and the real thing. Everything I've eaten there is excellent, it's cheap and relaxed but has a good reputation, especially with visitors from Sri Lanka due to it's authentic food. For you guys in the UK that are shy, you can visit any clinic, it doesn’t have to be local and you can say no to them informing your doctor about your treatments. It’s all free, and they provide excellence service and care. Personally I couldn’t care less, I went along to my local sexual health clinic here in North Devon, confessed I am a dirty slag who bums Thai trans hookers and if the feeling strikes me let them return the favour, and that it wasn’t all safe sex. The lovely lady gave me a full work up, gave me every vaccine going and packed me off with 3 months worth of prep and doxy pep. She always offers me rubbers, but they are crap, but I did take her up on the offer of some sachets of lube. They do come in handy when out and about.
I return after every holiday for post trip bloods etc, she’s always interested to hear about my holidays and see some of the holiday pics (PG only), and she of course sends me on my way with more supplies.
I try to practice safe sex as much as possible, but ultimately I’ve taken steps to limit my exposure to the nasties if I don’t. As let’s face it, sex is so much better bare. -
