Meth head taxi driver...had that experience once. Coming back at 23:00 in a taxi from Yanhee Hospital. On the expressway the driver was weaving in the lanes, laughing hysterically about the blinding rain. What R.F says refers to another side of the expansion of the gulf airline fleets: "your own" government doing so.
At least no blames on the carriers can be presented for this so, in a few words, (relatively speaking of course) "blame yourself", not the people flying those airlines.
The debate could expand on the many military contracts assigned to keep those industries running (and not doing much good to the world...
I have anyhow observed that gulf airlines are not THAT cheap and most of their rates are matched by western airlines.

Facts are that with their hubs halfway through Europe and Asia (for instance) they can put together much higher load factors (LF) with better revenues.
Staying in our topic (BKK) none of the EK (for instance) European airports can offer a higher number of daily flights to BKK than EK itself
With much fresher airplanes they also win the case.
Not saying this is bad or good, the whole subject has many faces as a diamond.
But it is a fact: they made the best out of a remote location in the middle of nowhere (Gulf airports) and grew a completely new business.

I think it OTS' case its not an STD he's just worn off part of his tongue from doing too much licking.

IMHO as a person who has worked in TH hotels since the mid-90's many expect you to pay for a third regardless of the time spent in the room. they know its a joiner for P4P and so they want to be compensated for the use of the hot water, towels (some punters ask for additional ones), etc. this may not always be a legit request, but in some respects IFO do not blame them for asking.

Would say yes, this forum is for fun and going to Thailand should not be about worry but I don't think it does any harm having these sorts of questions on the site. As others have said, I would always use protection for receptive and insertive anal sex. I've also read up about safe sex and over the years I have a HIV test annually but will always have one each time I come back from Thailand. With those procedures in place, I put any worry I have right at the back of my mind and enjoy myself fully. To date no problems so that makes the worry less & less and more room for fun. Just be sensible but above all enjoy yourself. If it really does do your head in so much then probably best book 2-weeks in Majorca instead.

Just some feedbag...I live by the river (actually about 200 ft from my window), but I tried the bumgun anyway. Tight against my ass was the only way it would penetrate. I pushed the trigger of the bum gun and started filling up like a waterballoon. After a short time, I stopped and then blew it all out again, and could see by looking in the toilet that it was effective. Not only that I but I didn't seem to get diareah or a parasite (too early to completely tell since parasites take a while to incubate, but I think I'm OK).
 
There's one point about enemas (for sex at least): you're only supposed to fill your rectum, which is the part that goes from your asshole to the "transverse colon", transverse because it's parallel to the ground, not vertical like your rectum. I bought Zithromax and a few other anti's at Boots, just walked in told the Pharmacist what I needed and she gave it to me no questions asked. A lot of the times you can even tell the Pharmacist what your problem is and they will recommend an anti for it.

Bottom line is, use condoms (know how to use them correctly) for anal sex and you don't have to worry about the odds. It's simple.
