this has been discussed inumerable times on the sister forum, and probably here too.
 
regardless of your intentions, many hotels follow the laws set down for hotels that require every guest to be registered. the number one reason is safety in case of a fire or some other calamity. this is the primary reason why most hotels ask for the "joiners" ID/TH Card.
 
another reason is if it is a hotel that charges a joiners fee, they want to get it.
 
but most importanlty, any decent hotel will take the ID so that the girl most go and retrieve it. then they will call the room to see if you know she is leaving, and if you are OK with that. this gives you a chance to check your belongings, etc and if there is anything wrong like a missing cell phone, laptop, wallet, passport, empty mini-bar, etc, they will hold her at reception for you.
 
they also want to make sure you are still alive and well. that may sound over the top, but too many crazy episodes over the decades with girls and guys fighting or worse.
 
granted, all of this negates what you are trying to accomplish.
 
needless to say every hotel/guesthouse is different, and they all apply the rules as they choose (or whoever is on duty chooses), and the interactoin with the staff and other guests that may be around can be aggravating if they choose to offer their opinion of your choice of partner.
 
when i worked the hotels in Pattaya back in the day as a department head, there was a security guard that was found to be harrassing the guests with joiners. he was not only being an impolite ass-hat, he was telling them they had to pay a joiners fee, and he would then pocket it. not only was he fired, they changed the security company soon after that.
 
if what you say is so
 
 
you should bite the bullet and make sure the girls register. its for your own safety, and it really can keep the crazy drunk/high thieving ones in check. most of all, it will be a great deterent to theft.

I recently stayed in Aspen on three different bookings. During my first stay the internet was spotty at best, which was the case in February. I was upgraded as a return customer and they had rooms to spare. The manager and desk people are all polite and helpful except for the younger male who is a bit unattentive in my estimation. I brought multiple guests without an issue. However they don't seem to be calling up to my room when they leave like they used to.
 
I didn't have the water runoff on the floor from the shower as I experienced in the Deluxe room. The maid staff was excellent as usual cleaning the room whenever I wanted it. I was tipping them daily so was able to extra towels. I managed to make it to a few breakfasts, and would bring up a plate with fruits and yogurt for later.
 
I took off for CM and then London, so I left a bag behind at no charge. I returned mid month and had 3 days booked through Agoda in an executive suite again. I added 3 days on a Qantas awards booking in a deluxe room, but was able to stay in the same room (Executive Suite). Had no problems and little to no wait times for the tuk tuk. I also used i check in and Lohas Suites tuk tuk when I was returning to Soi 2. They are all real good about picking up each others guests I've found.
 
I've found that Aspens prices have been better than i check inns, and is a nicer and bigger rooms in my estimation. Lohas had some specials which were around 80 AUD a night, but opted for Aspen at $65 a night. I noticed more Arabs and Chinese this time around, and with that more kids are present.
 
The beds in the executive suite are huge, but are actually two doubles put together. Spacious, but there is a ridge in the middle which isn't the most comfortable place to sleep if three in the bed. In the executive suite and the bed is pinned in better by night stands, so the bed didn't have near the movement as other rooms I experienced before.
 

 
 
 

Welcome, plenty of hotels to choose from, maybe u can use this experience to help you get over caring about what other ppl think😜 Also, the best thing to do is go to the bars and choose a lb that strikes ur fancy, no better way of choosing than that. Who knows, right now u may think ur into super gem bottom girls, and by the end of ur trip u might have found out that u like being dominated by tall Amazon types. Personally, my taste changes almost every experience, just depends on the mood.

Drove in from the Airport last Friday and landed at 15.30 after flying in from Singapore. Got through immigration fairly quickly as used business class priority passes for both of us and our bags were nearly first out. Immigration chap seemed to be intent on causing problems for the missus. The thought of a Lao LB using a Business Class express pass and actually being on a valid visa with re-entry permits caught him off guard. I corrected him on his presumably deliberate visa error and he relented and stamped her in to the full validity of her visa extension.
 
Driver was waiting with the stretch 7 series limo and following quick smoking break, we were in car heading downtown at 4pm. I'd expect gridlock at that time given it being a Friday and the start of Chinese New Year. Hit static traffic as soon as on the main highway where the airport traffic hits the number 7 motorway traffic which can be normal almost anytime of the day. As usual that cleared in a few minutes and the road opened up. Used the toll for Rama9 expressway but spotted well backed up traffic in the distance and the driver managed to slip off at the Rama9 free road off ramp. Made good progress along Rama 9 side roads and he took the Asoke turn and then an almost immediate right onto Petchburi Road. As luck would have it, very light traffic and it all kept moving. Turned into soi 3 and all clear down to Bumrungrad where it stacked back. Took left into the little soi where the PB hotel is and cut through to Soi 11. The driver knew all the cut through and was amazed I did as well !! That is what living in BKK with a car for 6 years does to you lol.
 
Checking in at the Grand President at 16.30. An hour from touchdown to checking in. I was amazed and delighted how quick we did the whole thing. The more I think about it, the more I am going to use this route in the future. The off ramp at Soi 1 Ploenchit is a nightmare these days. I can only guess it is because Krung Thai Bank HQ staff can now turn right onto Sukhumvit and block the traffic that is coming off the expressway ramp.

I have always taken a taxi from the official taxi queue to Nana. It's about 300 plus toll. The place where it gets bad is just after the exit from the highway into Ploenchit. But every taxi driver knows to cut through Ploenchit Centre into soi 2. There is no way I am going to take a train dragging my luggage from Ploenchit bts for just a couple of hundred bahts.

great too see. i have my own business and a son working in it who is not ready yet to take over, my plan is to fly in out over 2016 1 week to ten days in thailand back to work for 5/6 weeks depending on the time of year. more time around dec / jan. you do what you have to do.i now have 6 old school mates of 40 years + there in pkt and patts so its funny how we end up back at the beginning whoring and drinking and taking in the culture of course.

the chair is great if you get the right girl who understands its potential ... whenever i meet Blair Waldorf/Praewa at PB i stop at the Seven 11 on Soi 11 and pick up some Absolute Cranberry Vodka and Iced Tea and a few x-long straws ... then when i meet Blair in the room i simply lay back on the chair, hold on to a tall frosty cocktail and let her hammer away while sipping the cool one at her leisure ... after 2 or 3 cocktails this girl is flying non-stop ... and i am having a very relaxing time.

A BM here recently asked about the ladyboy guest policies of a BKK hotel. This gave me the idea to email various hotels around lower Sukhumvit inquiring about their guest policies and whether ladyboys are welcome as overnight guests. The hotels I contacted are all within walking distance of Nana Plaza, CIB, Paradise bars as well as other LB venues such as Nuch Salon. I focused on hotels located on the odd number Soi side of Sukhumvit since most guys are already familiar with the policies of the hotels on the even number Soi side such as Marriott, Phachara, Heaven@4, etc.
 
They all received an identical email from me:

I will also be emailing other hotels for the purpose of determining what their guest / ladyboy policies are as well.
