mikel got a reaction from OneTrueSaxon in OTS's Hotel reviews
I only use one bedroom suite. It's microwave, fridge and kettle. 5 min walk tops to bts. Decent restaurant on corner of soi 85. Plenty of food options next to bts. Turn left out of soi 85/ suk and there's a decent street market a short walk away.

Too late. They closed the special offer on November 30. To keep the Kiwi's out! 😂

Looks good . It's nice to have a place that has room to relax. I can never go back to having just a small room in a hotel.

Don't know - the airline oversold my flight and put me up here. Had to look upset at missing flight while mentally cheering and doing cartwheels...

Decent amount of space if a little soulless. But just add a ladyboy......

Due to flight changes had one night here. 4 star modern hotel. Huge lobby, reasonably quick check in - told them that my girlfriend would be joining me later - not a problem. When she arrived they rang to let me know. Didn't take her id card. The rooms are a decent size with large window looking into bathroom - full bath, shower big enough for two. TV has typical chain selection - fox2 for sport and a movie channel. No bar fridge! The bed is excellent and big - ideal for all sorts of manouevres. Short shuttle ride to terminal. And reasonable coffee in the lobby.

Stayed here for two nights last week. Splashed out a bit (aud 250) because I wanted to take a girl somewhere nice. She loved it. You get a private villa with large dining area, big bedroom with day bed, walled courtyard with pool and outdoor bath. Huge bathroom. Room service food is provided by the restaurant next door. For other food options turn right out of the hotel cross over the train line and on the left past the 7-11 (there are 2 opposite each other!) is a square full of food stalls - reasonably priced and several cater to western taste. Cheap and tasty. There's not much to do in the neighbourhood but given the rain we were soon inside making our own entertainment. The tv is a samsung smart tv and has 16 channels and is a basic package. My girl conjured up some movies via her smartphone. The outdoor bath is big enough for two 😎. The staff are friendly but not super slick - they forgot to replenish tea & coffee and when I mentioned it we received enough to last a month! Check in and out was a breeze. Didn't see much of other guests, it's a great spot for a romantic break 😊. One last point - have a read of the reviews on agoda and try to imagine the sad prick malaysian guy who posts the negative review.I enjoyed it, shame about the rain but if you have solid chemistry with your lb this is a good spot to stay.

mikel got a reaction from OneTrueSaxon in More spacious rooms with pool on site?
@Mind is on soi 85 and has an ok gym and small rooftop pool. More for lounging around than doing laps. The one bedroom apartment is excellent value. Kitchen area with dining table, lounge with sofa, flatscreen and tiny balcony. Bathroom ok. Bedroom excellent (another wall mounted flatscreen). As OTS said excellent location. Good price too. I've booked for a return visit in Oct.

mikel got a reaction from cutefarang in Favorite Foods and Where to Eat
On Nut next to the bts has good cheap fare. One lb took me to a little old lady run hole in the wall place at the end of the bts line where I had the best food ever. For next to nothing! She ordered I enjoyed.

mikel reacted to Siam Man in Anal douche with Bang Cock water?
This is a good topic and I will be moving it to Health Issues section of the forum. We also have an older thread in that section dealing with Tap Water which relates to this. Tap Water
Someone told me (I sound like Fox news with no source LOL) that it's good to eat Yogurt in Thailand because it has natural enzymes and bacteria that fight the local bacteria. It made sense to me so I have picked up some when I think of it at 7/11's and family marts. Always pinch a couple when they have them at breakfast buffets at some of the hotels and throw them in the fridge.

Brand new hotel opened right in the heart of the nightlife area.
It's that new that the lifts are not working yet.
Will give a better review when I have stayed my two nights. But first impressions are stunning
