After all the years i have stayed at the Nana Hotel I think I may have bagged their best room. It's basically a suite and is pretty much the size of two rooms, but that aside it is posistioned above Hooters and I have three large windows looking down onto the NEP entrance and also where the freelancers gather.....maybe they secretly log your visits and thought his time has come for a bit of VIP hospitality!!...highly unlikely but for just under 1,800B a night it is excellent value!

Cathay Pacific connects thousands of passengers at HKG every day and have doing so for decades. Assuming your 1st flight (Heathrow?) departs reasonably on time, there is no need to worry about missing your connecting flight at HKG. Airlines use algorithms that will account for precisely what time your 1st flight arrived at HKG gate that day and exactly how long the lines are at transit security at that particular moment. If your flight arrives slightly late or the lines at security are longer than expected, Cathay will adjust your 2nd flight's departure time accordingly. There will be other passengers on your plane with the identical travel itinerary as yours and Cathay won't be leaving anybody behind because doing so just creates headaches for them.
I have flown Cathay on several trips to Thailand and transited through HKG on all of them. The longest transit security ever took was maybe 10 minutes.  Lines can move slower at HKG than other airports, but Cathay knows that better than anybody and they account for it. Relax and enjoy your trip.
I pay little heed to travel reviews on trip advisor etc. because many of them are written by Karen-types who complain about everything under the sun.

"Exercise is one of the most effective ways to prevent many lifestyle-related diseases. Interestingly, it can also boost your testosterone.
A large review study found that people who exercised regularly had higher testosterone levels. In the elderly, exercise increases testosterone levels, fitness and reaction time (15Trusted Source, 16Trusted Source)."
I concur as well,  I recently started exercising again, I find it easier to get hard on nowadays
Best of all, it is free

"Cozy at Ten" advertises itself now as an "Entertainment Complex" and promises massage and karaoke in Korean writing (Korea Town is nearby). Also says "room available." But I don't know if they still operate as a "normal" hotel or not.

FYI, you can also pre order a klook sim card and pick up at at the bkk airports.

I think they have a partnership with dtac as it look almost like a dtac sim.

If you see the circled drop down option, you can choose to pay in different currency other than thai baht, Just follow the instructions

it is very clear and concise. Moreover, they are giving a better discount now. When i last pre-ordered the sim card in March , it was 25% off, whereas now it is 50% off.

The lift is really funny in this hotel, I remember. I like it. No cabin inside. But I am not sure how safe if someone is drunk and can't standing straight.

I wouldn't ask them like that, but if you bought them a few drinks which are quite pricey I'm sure they would join you out later. Although they appear very ladylike and aren't bargurls as such they are ladyboys who like to have fun. They stuck around after their appearance Paradise Club and partied hard. At least two were very willing to go home with me. I took the Birthday gurl Peche. It was supposed to be LT but turned into ST.

I've went three times with a date. The last time they asked me if I had single friends. So they are ready to have some fun outside of work. I'm sure they will be up for some fun tonight as they will be appearing at Paradise Club's NYE Party tonight.

Anyone new to Bangkok looking for a good pie that doesn't want the usual cardboard with sauce they serve at Pizza Hut or Pizza Company try the following places, all of them offer very good pies for not too much money:

    1. Bella Napoli - Soi 31. Thin crust brick oven style. Variety of toppings, only downside is they have only one size and it's fairly large (prices are around 200-500 baht depending on toppings). Also have some decent pasta options served in a clay bowl with pizza dough on top and a very good wine list.

    2. Scoozi - This is a local chain that has been around for a number of years. They have around 20 locations around Bangkok (several in and around Sukhumvit). Extensive toppings and a very good crust. (Prices start at 100 for what they call Pizza Bread (basically cooked dough) to 600 for their super pizzas). They also deliver throughout Bangkok and have online ordering.

    3. Pala Pizza - Under Asoke BTS, next to Terminal 21. This is perhaps my favorite pizza place in all of Bangkok. They claim to use only ingredients imported from Italy. They cook their pizza in meter long slabs and also have numerous toppings and options. Some of their pizza's they do sell by the slice (around 60-100 baht). A whole meter pizza can be on the expensive side (some as much as 1500 baht) but it is well worth it. They also have an excellent deli counter inside featuring all sorts of Italian meats, cheeses and condiments.

These are 3 of my favorites, if you have one not listed please add it!

Another plus about i Check Inn is bringing a second guest is no issue with them. They simply take both ID's. I don't do 3-some to often but it's nice to know there is no hassle bringing back two. I'm sure Randyandy put that to test a few times.

    Room

Not sure why they need a fan as the room is very small, aircon is good enough, might as well invest money for internal phone system.

    TV

    On wall foldable laptop table

safe is big enough to put laptop in

for BMs who are planning for a trip to the LOS, you may find a slightly better discount from the Agoda website as compared to before.

Did a random check and found Boss Suites Nana around $43 SGD o($ 34 USD) in August and Ibis Bangkok Nana around the same price in Sept and Oct.
