City lodge bangkok.. just an update to this I wouldn't recommend this place ever again. The doors don't lock properly and someone else I saw in reception had the same problem. Serious security issues, I had someone accidentally (a guest)walk into my room twice. So I left the hotel and went somewhere else but still had the room as an emergency bolt hole. Well I returned two weeks later for my last 6 hours before a flight and someone used the room for a shit and a shower. I barricaded the door for safety before I laid on the bed for a couple of hours.   Depressing, unsecure and creepy. That's the Bangkok city lodge

You've now placed an image in my head that's going to last for a very long time. That's especially the case as I first read it as "like watching THAT guy have a wank" which would also be true with some of the faces he pulls.

That food looks absolutely insane but watching that guy eat is like watching a guy have a wank...just don't. Great stuff @Genghis and many thanks.

Oh right lol I recommend stable lodge on soi 8  anyway it has a balcony and quiet enough but still closed to the main mongering area and non intrusive reception (good or bad depending what you want) . I will never not have a room without a balcony in Bangkok again.

No point replying to him about that, he's banned now (good riddance) and almost certainly didn't go to the hotel anyway.
