    • Looking at fares for my November trip. Bloody Hell! Brisbane to BKK return. Anywhere between $1400 and $2000. Crazy stuff!. A year or so ago , that would have got you to London. I guess the only option is to build a raft and paddle. On the other hand, accommodation seems to be ok. Still some good deals around Have booked Citi Chic in Soi 13. Freshly renovated and looking good.
    • I just booked again myself for the Xmas period. When I checked last week it was around 4500b a night, so when it was sitting at 3000b yesterday, there was no hesitation in pulling the trigger.
I used to really like citrus when it first opened, but for the price they want, there are much better options.
    • Thanks for the review. I decided to give them a try in October, so canceled my Citrus Suites Soi 6 reservation. There are a few things I don't like about Citrus Suites (lame pool, weak restaurant), and I really like the Soi 11 neighborhood vibe a lot more than Soi 4. Got myself upgraded to one of their pool view rooms.
    • Ive stayed in Pachara suites, bin on a late after party with sleepover after it became Park Royal and refurbished. Stayed at Citrus soi6 several times and ofcourse Adelphi suites. I must admit that Adelphi is my favourite in lower Sukhumvit. You just can't fault their location with all the great restaurants and liveliness in the streets. Abit more cultivated then soi 4 IMHO. In November I will stay Novotel soi 4. I do actually prefer Novotel soi 20, but its abit far from the action. Novotel soi 20 let's you drink beer from bottle by the pool while soi 4 pour them in some very indelicate plastic cups....
    • Maybe an Aussie rule. Here, the taxes and fees are additional on Agoda, but included on Booking.
