Way overpriced. See my link a few posts back. About TB1200. I have used the same service at BKK twice and it is totally worth it. Much easier than crutches!!

The problem is not getting to the airport at that time, its easy 20-30 mins, it is getting through Immigration that maybe the headache. 4.30am is time, i'd leave. Hopefully immigration is light on queues and plenty time for coffee. On numerous flights out of Don Muang I came very close to missing flights in the past purely because of bottle necks at Immigration.

Dang, those Qatari LBs were hot. Slim lines, big boobs, bubbly Arab butts. Guess I'll have to start traveling to Riyadh and Muscat instead.

I'm thinking of a 1940s B&W movie style third floor walkup with rusty sinks, one bare lightbulb over the moldy mattress, and a toilet that overflows daily. With 2 windows at the same height and facing the BTS tracks, so all the passengers can peer into the room at night...and a junkie saxophonist playing mournful jazz in the next room.

regardless of your intentions, many hotels follow the laws set down for hotels that require every guest to be registered. the number one reason is safety in case of a fire or some other calamity. this is the primary reason why most hotels ask for the "joiners" ID/TH Card.
 
another reason is if it is a hotel that charges a joiners fee, they want to get it.
 
but most importanlty, any decent hotel will take the ID so that the girl most go and retrieve it. then they will call the room to see if you know she is leaving, and if you are OK with that. this gives you a chance to check your belongings, etc and if there is anything wrong like a missing cell phone, laptop, wallet, passport, empty mini-bar, etc, they will hold her at reception for you.
 
they also want to make sure you are still alive and well. that may sound over the top, but too many crazy episodes over the decades with girls and guys fighting or worse.
 
granted, all of this negates what you are trying to accomplish.
 
needless to say every hotel/guesthouse is different, and they all apply the rules as they choose (or whoever is on duty chooses), and the interactoin with the staff and other guests that may be around can be aggravating if they choose to offer their opinion of your choice of partner.
 
when i worked the hotels in Pattaya back in the day as a department head, there was a security guard that was found to be harrassing the guests with joiners. he was not only being an impolite ass-hat, he was telling them they had to pay a joiners fee, and he would then pocket it. not only was he fired, they changed the security company soon after that.

you should bite the bullet and make sure the girls register. its for your own safety, and it really can keep the crazy drunk/high thieving ones in check. most of all, it will be a great deterent to theft.

Didn't think there was *anybody* older than me. I have my second session with her today. So far I like her personality, which isn't pushy, indifferent, or moody. She seems like "a good kid" as we Americans might say. Or chai dee (good heart) as the Thais say. Well, time will tell but so far so good. I had a bunch of AAdvantage miles. Got all of them with my the 30K-50K bonus when getting an AA Citicard, charging the required amount, then cancelling card. Within a month or two, get an email to open another credit card account. Did it 4 times. UA/Chase had it but finally realized there are a lot of us doing it, so now a 24-month gap required. Anyway, tried to book a November US-BKK RT on the AA website, but not possible. Called the AA reservations number and hooked up with a fantastic agent (in US!!). She put me on AA from my mid western US home to ORD, then Cathay through Hong Kong. RT for 75,000 miles. Got on Cathay site and upgraded to economy-plus giving me legroom on all 4 segments for $260 I then received a 7500 mile rebate from AA-Citicard, so complete trip 67,500 miles and $260!!! Still have enough miles for another one and in the process of cancelling the current card.

Can't beat the MS for proximity!!
