I stayed for one night in September 2023 as Petals Inn has now closed down and been replaced by a bar. I got a Junior Suite that was an OK size but it's in the center of the hotel and there are no windows. At first, I couldn't get the lights to work, when I turned the bathroom light on the main light would turn off. Later that day they were working fine, but when I came back at the end of the night the issue came back. I stayed when it first opened years ago and the quality had deteriorated, but the price was very cheap so to be expected.

I actually booked when it was just the Day 1 before they suspended it, then when they reopened and added the 5th Day I booked with them as well for the 5th day.

I'm booked with Mercure Soi 11. Process has been really good so far. My flight has been changed a few times and each time they quickly changed the hotel confirmation document. I used Wise (Transferwise) to transfer the money to their account. Got my Thailand Pass already so they are good at confirming your booking as well.

I got a voucher from KLM back in March 2020, I used it earlier this year to book an October trip which I then cancelled and they refunded the money this time, had the cash back in my account within about 5 days.

My favorite is Massaman curry but it varies quite a lot between places, can be too sweet in some. I found a great one in the Emporium Food Court a few years ago but the past few times I've looked I couldn't find it. Best one I did find on my last trip was at Lengkee in Pattaya. They also do great duck dishes there as well, Duck with Pineapple was a revelation, did not expect it to taste so nice. Found out about it on Mark Wiens blog (https://www.eatingthaifood.com/sanguan-sri-restaurant/), not far from Nana so I had a walk round. Only open 10am - 2pm and mainly full of office workers.
