Hotel rates will depend on the season. In Bangkok I will spend most of my stay at the Mecure on Soi 11 and rates have varied between AUD$140 in the low season to $210 over New Year. The Hyatt Regency and Sofitel seem to be anywhere from AUD$240 to $300+ for a basic room (more if you want lounge access). In Pattaya I'm more than happy with the Holiday Inn Express which can range between AUD$65 to $85 a night. Personally, I do like the extra luxury at the end of a trip, but as a minimum I do want a modern, quiet and clean room with decent bedding, towels, good cleaning service and air conditioning -  and all in a good location too. A good gym and pool is nice too. I won't compromise much as I'm past the age where I'm out all night and day and being able to have a comfortable space to rest and relax is important to me. But everyone has their own priorities and budgets.

How much do you guys pay for these 5 star hotels? I am a cheap Charlie where hotels are concerned as it’s only the place for me to sleep. So out in the morning and late night back. 

Some of the more educated ones are on PREP, but I wouldn't bet on it, most are just fatalistic and a fucking bareback all the time without a second thought I haven't met one that wouldn't do bareback, or hasn't tried to

Long ago Thermae was not a bad option in the hours after the bars had closed. You'd sometimes see a stream of girls from the bars arriving then, looking for a first or last hookup of the night. But the bar girls have all turned to various apps and social media for those out-of-bar hookups, so the talent level at Thermae is not great. Older GGs. MINLF (Mothers I'd Not Love to Fuck).

I'm inclined to agree with the verdict. the concept and the length of time it has been running is unlike anything I have ever heard of before anywhere else in the world. I have been a couple of times for novelty value and to see what the "talent" is like. once I thought through the concept of the place and realised they are just "ordinary, normal" Thai girls looking to make a bit of extra money on the side, I lowered my expectations on terrific sex or "value for money".  it's a lottery. bloody dangerous for the girls too ... nobody knows they are there.  they keep that side of their lives hidden from family and friends.  thermae knows absolutely nothing about them and has no duty of care.  it's all very hidden away.  genuine, dangerous predators would be a very real threat.  not to mention the everyday, unhinged, drunk or drugged lunatic.
