    • They don't ask for ID unless the girl went for the front desk , you can go up with girl no question ask  I don't recommend this hotel: Noise insulation , can hear next door talking and loud bang if next door did not close their door quietly  No Fridge  - there is a share Fridge downstairs Air condition unit too close to bed  Lighting - White light too dark or too bright, no in between  Elevated bed make it uncomfortable  Very small  Otherwise , it is very clean , very well maintain. Really want to like it but the negative out weighted the positive .   La Petite Salil Sukhumvit 11 Galleria 10 Hotel Bangkok Give me better experience at the same price range ,  even they are not as well maintain

    • I have arthritis in my knees so flying from London to BKK via Saudi is a nice half way break. It's only a two hour layover so basically you get of one plane and on to another with a decent leg stretcher in between. Also, I find that Emirates is a very well equipped plane with decent food, Thai and EVA get the job done but the planes are dated and the food is adequate but nothing special.
    • Well if you can fly direct why would you bother flying though the middle east.
    • It's not hard to apply and get the 60 day tourist visa, but just an extra hassle and an extra expense.  Except for one trip, I have always stayed longer than 30 days so I have done the 60 day tourist visa process a few times. Even if you don't technically qualify for the DTV or one of their newer visas it might be worth applying. One doctors appointment used to be good enough to get you the 5 year visa when it first came out and meeting the "soft activities" criteria used to be very easy...register for 1 cooking class or muay thai lesson and that sort of thing.
