tugga 69 #1 Posted January 24, 2017 Hey gang I usually stay at Majestic Suites or Majestic Grande, depending on how long I'm staying in Bkk. I'll be coming for a month later on in the year and am after a change. I've seen some good reviews on here already. Looking for something around the 1500 to 2000 Baht range in the lower Soi range in Sukhumvit. I've read some good reviews about On8. http://www.on8bangkok.com/en/ Wondering if an BM's have stayed there. Thanks in advance,
bronson101010 32 #2 Posted January 24, 2017 (edited) I have stayed there many times and the best about this hotel is the location. Close to nana skytrain, which is easy and cheap to use. Not far of a walk to nana and soi cowboy. Nice breakfast with a variety of dishes. The best part it is, value for money. Some people comented about the noise comming from the sky train however have found it ok no different that staying near the bars, with there music blasting. RogerRabbit 52 #6 Posted January 24, 2017 Yes i seen it before but it looks pretty run down. Seems really old and some reviews mentioned insects & such in the rooms. Is that an accurate assertion based on your experience? Sent from my SM-J710F using Tapatalk

RogerRabbit 52 #8 Posted January 24, 2017 Yeah was considering citadines as well. Which one would you recommend for a 10 day stay, citadines or salil? Also which one is more discreet? Privacy to me is very very important and thats why i usually stay on soi2 (aspen & solo). Im dying to stay at pachara or dynasty grande but they seem like huge hotels and i would really hate to hear comments / have many people staring at me when i bring my LB of choice back to the hotel with me Sent from my SM-J710F using Tapatalk

I like the space in the rooms. Have had multiple guest at a time and nobody even blinked a eye lid, however they do take the guest i.d. Arrange your guest to come up to your room after you arrive, but believe me when i tell you that no one will care who you walk in there with. In that erea the best i have stayed is phachara, best rooms and service. 1 RogerRabbit reacted to this
RogerRabbit 52 #11 Posted January 24, 2017 Thanks man appreciate the advice but trust me drunk guys will comment. I experienced it a couple of times before and had it not been for Bee, I would have thrown down with 2 a couple of years ago. They were right in our faces calling her a LB in a disparaging way but she told me to ignore them and just hop in a cab. She took it so well I was impressed with her. And Im 100% sure they were just jealous i was with such a beaut like Bee I might try phachara heard nothing but really positive things and the location is amazing. bronson101010 32 #12 Posted January 24, 2017 Personaly i could not care less what others think, you are correct, most guys which comment, envy of you being with a sexy girl aspecially someone like bee.
RogerRabbit 52 #13 Posted January 24, 2017 Yeah I dont care too much but it still irks me no doubt. That night however, i felt bad for Bee because of how disparaging they were towards her but she took it like a champ and showed a lot of maturity. Bee is very underrated as an all around girl imo. Sent from my SM-J710F using Tapatalk I've stayed at Phachara many times, it's great for longer stays. The location is hard to beat, and it's in a very quite sub-soi while still being very close to the action. I recommend booking directly with the hotel by either email or phone. You'll get the best rates doing that. Skip the breakfast if there is an extra charge for it as it's shit.

DanLBLover 0 #16 Posted January 24, 2017 I stayed in On8 a few times.. the Location is really a big plus like mentioned between Cowboy and NEP. Regarding the noise I have no clue, never came back while the Skytrain was still operating. Only thing which maybe bothers some are the heavy tinted windows, no chance to look outside (which wouldnt be so nice at all ). A nice thing is the Massage right next to the entrance, they got only girls but most of them are quite open minded and like it everywhere.
Terry Tibbs 52 #17 Posted January 28, 2017 I've stayed there... never again. The location is good but that's about it. The AC was broken in the room... took a lot of faffing about to change to a different room.
