Geronimo42 501 #1 Posted August 30, 2016 Anyone stayed at the Royal President recently? Specifically their suites. Many Thanks
mardhi 1,689 #2 Posted September 6, 2016 I stayed in a one bedroom suite back in January for a night. Spacious but very old fashioned. Had small kitchen, table, sofa etc. We got upgraded for free, but I believe they are not very expensive if you are paying for that room level. Have to say it seemed a high stress hotel. Every time I went past reception somebody was complaining about something to the reception staff.
Geronimo42 501 #3 Posted September 6, 2016 Hi Mardhi Thanks very much for this response. A couple of questions if I may: Was the suite clean? How quiet was it? Many thanks
mardhi 1,689 #4 Posted September 6, 2016 Hi Mardhi Thanks very much for this response. A couple of questions if I may: Was the suite clean? How quiet was it? Many thanks Room was clean, just felt old. Towels and bed linen had seen better days but nothing explicitly wrong with it. From memory, our room was on the front overlooking soi 11. Pretty sure it was double glazed and I don't recall any noise.

Geronimo42 501 #6 Posted September 7, 2016 Hi Marhdi Bells just rung! You mention overlooking soo 11. Royal president is in soi 15 sure you didn't stay in grand president or the other 'president ' at the end of soi 11😃 Have a good day!
DeepnHard 1,117 #7 Posted September 7, 2016 The name "Royal President" would seem logical to a Thai.
