I mean common ones like Amoxicilline or Zythromax. Can just walk into a pharmacy and obtain it?

I know all about: don't self diagnose, self medicate, not good to take antibiotics if not proven, resistance etc. blablablabla. I don't disagree with it either, that's just not my question.

Yes, you can easily just get them from a pharmacist without a prescription.

I've never heard of a pharmacy declining to sell w/o a prescription. LB Pharmacy on lower Suk certainly will sell you any basic prescription.

Yep, independents and small pharmacies will, I have noticed though that the branded ones like Boots and Watsons tend

to want more information and to advise of possible alternatives. Nothing wrong in taking them if you think it's warranted but

taken often the body builds up immunity to them.
