I think it's just the perfect place for that......it feels special inside with the decor but without being poncey.....the food is great and not overly expensive. -

This sounds like a great find to me @taaseesanuk. I know Soi Ruamrudee quite well (I stayed in former Novotel Ploenchit for > half a year back in 2016). But cannot recall Massilia, probably opened the doors after that. Just had a look at some pics on the internet and for sure it looks like a great place to treat a lady to some nice 'delizie Italiane' Will check it out in a few weeks! -

If you get chance Massilia is well worth a look.....it's jut far enough away from the crowds but still in striking distance of Lower Suk -

Massilia sounds good. I like Vesuvio and what was Otto’s on soi 8, but the crust turns into a soft marshmallow as it cools, and it’s the same at both places. Both places just ok. My favorite is Pala at the bottom of Asok BTS…no comparison whatsoever, different and more creative toppings, crunchy all the way through and also has kiosk window to buy slices. Inside it’s perpetually jammed, but expert servers help. Excellent puttanesca too. Highly recommended -
I will second on this place. I always get the lasagna.
