SanMiguel 6 #28 Posted June 10, 2017 There is quite a few brew pubs over in Silom. This new one Mash Bangkok looks very good, just opened yesterday. 16 rotating taps and nice looking burgers. Not easy to get a real good burger in Bangkok so have to check this one out. http://www.mashbangkok.com/ https://www.facebook.com/mashbangkok/ 3 Boomerang, DeepnHard and Markm reacted to this

Didn't sample the beer...
jl2009 6 #32 Posted September 17, 2017 Thanks all for the input. There aren't any barrel-aged craft brews indiginous to Thailand...yet. The majority of 'craft' beers in LOS are imported from and labeled with names from other countries. It's understood that one would want to be particular and singularly associated with ones home country products. I will continue to search for a Thai-oriented craft experience. DeepnHard 1,117 #34 Posted September 18, 2017 (edited) As may be obvious, Thailand has never been colonized, so their beer taste isn't European. Of the surrounding countries I find Thailand makes the worst beer (bland taste as well as the most expensive). Compare Thai beer to Cambodian, Laotian, or Vietnamese (all French colonies). Poor stuff. Indonesian and Malay beer is better too, in my experience. (Everything else is great, though ) Edited September 18, 2017 by DeepnHard
