mikel 2,483 #1 Posted October 13, 2014 Stayed here for two nights last week. Splashed out a bit (aud 250) because I wanted to take a girl somewhere nice. She loved it. You get a private villa with large dining area, big bedroom with day bed, walled courtyard with pool and outdoor bath. Huge bathroom. Room service food is provided by the restaurant next door. For other food options turn right out of the hotel cross over the train line and on the left past the 7-11 (there are 2 opposite each other!) is a square full of food stalls - reasonably priced and several cater to western taste. Cheap and tasty. There's not much to do in the neighbourhood but given the rain we were soon inside making our own entertainment. The tv is a samsung smart tv and has 16 channels and is a basic package. My girl conjured up some movies via her smartphone. The outdoor bath is big enough for two 😎. The staff are friendly but not super slick - they forgot to replenish tea & coffee and when I mentioned it we received enough to last a month! Check in and out was a breeze. Didn't see much of other guests, it's a great spot for a romantic break 😊. One last point - have a read of the reviews on agoda and try to imagine the sad prick malaysian guy who posts the negative review.I enjoyed it, shame about the rain but if you have solid chemistry with your lb this is a good spot to stay. 3 bkkladyboy, Boomerang and OneTrueSaxon reacted to this

OneTrueSaxon 6,000 #4 Posted October 13, 2014 Looks good . It's nice to have a place that has room to relax. I can never go back to having just a small room in a hotel. 1 mikel reacted to this

Booked @Mind soi85 for six nights - can't fault it. The area 's being rapidly developed so I imagine prices will rise. Driving south on Suk it's noticeable that developers are moving in everywhere. Starting to look for a one bedroom apartment comparable to @Mind for next visit. Spending less time in lower suk with each trip and starting to get a handle on the city as a whole.
