Hiso Nana

Recommended Posts

I have been getting emails from the HIso Nana on Soi 3. Has anyone ever stayed there?

It looks nice and new. They claim to have a 600 baht joiner fee if more than 2 in the room.

Its a fair old walk up Soi 3 and to be honest, the sign does indeed look new. But the building not so sure. It strikes me as a quick refurb of a former C grade office block just to spin a few bucks by chucking on a glass entry lobby. Much better choices in Soi's 2/4/6/8 and you do not need to cross Sukhumvit. However, if you like walking through Arab centric streets, you might like it.

I do not want to sound prejudice, but I am not into arab centric area. I think I will stay with the two I have used on my last trip, Heaven @ 4 and the Darwin. Of the two I like the Darwin as it has a pool. But both are close enough so I never need a ST room.

Thanks for the input.

I stayed at the Dawin on first visit in 2009 and was well impressed. As you say short walk back! Good rooms and the pool is ok. Reasonable price too.
