Oh man! I feel for you! i am in Sydney and things are mostly back to normal apart from not being able to travel. i snuck in a trip up to the Gold Coast about 5 weeks ago before they closed the Queensland border again. But so far already missed out on about 4 overseas trips since March. I would have been going back to Thailand in October but can only dream about that now -

Nice one! I've yet to visit Krabi or Kanchanaburi. I saw a video on Kanchanaburi recently and really want to visit. Looks like a lovely town to chill out with a bit of bar action. -

Welcome to your forum. We are all itching to get back to Thailand. What are you favourite places in Thailand? -
Of course they don't want hookers hanging out in their lobby but this is not what this post is about. A guest bringing a hooker through the lobby to their room is not the same as hookers hanging out in their lobby. If a guest at a 5 star hotel, paying the large 5 star room price, chooses to bring a guest to their room, the hotel is not going to be concerned about.

I stayed at that Hyatt Regency in October last year. Very nice hotel! Check out the Spectrum Rooftop bar on the top floors. Very nice. i was only there for 1 night and did not bring any guests in but I have stayed at the Grand Hyatt hotel many times and never had problems with bringing guests in (both GG and LB). During the days no problems, just up the elevators and to the room. At night time there were security at the elevators asking you to check your guest in at the front desk before you go to your room. This is best for you own security. Being part of the Hyatt group (and same with most 5 star hotels in Bangkok), i would say it would be same policy at the Hyatt Regency. There is a door into the Hyatt Regency straight off Sukhumvit Road and there is always a doorman who opens that door (day and night), so I am sure if you bring a guest, he would ask you to check them in. The main entrance is to the side where a taxi would drop you off and you walk straight past the reception desks so unless they super busy I'm sure they may ask you to check your guest in. There are a few freelancers (both girls and ladyboys) that hang out on Sukhumvit right out the front of the Hyatt Regency. I checked them out but a bit rough for my liking.

I just never understood why it is called Stumble Inn, as every time I go there I Stumble Out! -

Stumble Inn my all time favourite. I visit here every time I visit Bangers. You cannot beat this view at night, with all the street food vendors in full swing. Great people watching, especially all the working girls/lbs stopping off to grab something to eat. -
I have not stayed at the Mercure but can highly recommended the El Gaucho Argentinean Steakhouse located at the front of the hotel. I rate as the best steak in Bangkok! A bit expensive but very high quality steaks. Loads more good food options walking distance from the hotel along Soi 11.

Has anyone stayed at the Hyatt Place Bangkok Sukhumvit? Seems to be a few minutes walk to Phrom Phong BTS station and maybe a bit over 10 minutes walk from Soi Cowboy.

btw - i also saw a GG freelancer during the day, just between Hyatt Regency and Soi 11. How convenient!

I stayed at Hyatt Regency Sukhumvit at the end of last year. Great hotel. Very nice rooms, great Club lounge, nice swimming pool I think on level 4 with so so view. Awesome rooftop bar called Spectrum Lounge. I did not bring a guest in while I stayed at this hotel though the reception area is very busy. I walked through many times late evenings and didn't seem to be anyone checking id. But maybe if I had a guest someone would have sprung up to check. There was a door man opening the door directly off Sukhumvit. maybe he checks if you have a guest. But i'd say being a 5 star hotel you will have no problems bringing a guest (whatever flavour), maybe just the id check for your protection. I used to stay at Grand Hyatt Erawan and had no problems with bring guests. During the day no id check, only at night time do they have someone standing at the lifts checking id. Hyatt Regency Sukhumvit: About 1 minute walk to Soi 11 and Nana BTS skytrain station. Only took less than 10 minute stroll up to Nana. Quite a few freelancers standing right out the front of Hyatt Regency at night time on Sukhumvit. I saw both GG and LB but none I would have dragged off the street!

Another great dish at Nara Thai is their delicious soft-shell crab salad. Yummo

Not one mention of Thai satay. I love it. But better than Thai satay stick is Moo Ping - pork skewers, the best Thai street food -
Testing LBs with oral STD kits. Douche bag move or future standard operating procedure
sydney69er replied to mangatanga's topic in Health Issues
It would definitely take some of the stress away from casual sex with dirty whores. How many blood tests you boys had in the past and sweated on getting the results Condoms only protect you so much. I would say these sorts of testing kits will become acceptable for both parties to take as they are become more common and reliable. -
There is another Nara Thai over in the Urban Kitchen, lower ground floor of the Grand Hyatt Erawan Hotel. I think there is a few Nara Thai throughout Bangkok all part of the same chain. I have eaten there a few times and the food is always top quality and I think reasonably priced.
