Stayed for 3 nights (Th-Sat) in a 1 bedroom executive booked through agoda (w/bfast $93).
It's new, the location is 50m from soi 4 turning left & a right turn takes you to Suk & Nana bts in a matter of minutes. If you head straight rather than follow the bend the alleyway takes you to soi 8.
Check in was a breeze even though the desk was unmanned at first and I was soon up to my room. You need the keycard to activate the lift. The room was spacious and well designed. The sofa was large enough and firm enough to accomodate two doing more than sitting...
Large bathroom, decent hot water although the cold tap came off in my hand! There is a bum gun. The lighting around the mirror could be better but no major problem.
Bed was large & very comfortable. Pillows are soft. If you want the room made up there's a button to the right of the bed.
Two tv's (samsung smart). The choice of channels was poor and the signal frequently dropped out for minutes at a time. My guest thought the wifi less than impressive too.
Staff are great and it's LB friendly. They didn't ask for id.
Breakfast was average. Egg station out by the bar. Usual Asian choices, some cereals, terrible coffee. Lack of fruit too.
I was the only BM with breakfast companion but it was no problem.
The pool on the roof is deep enough and ok for an 7 or 8 stroke lap but I noticed a huge overflow from just me. Don't put phone, clothes or paper on the ground when it's in use. Jacuzzi works fine. The sun is off the water at 1pm. The gym looked ok but I was too lazy to use it.
The bar hasn't been finished which is a shame - could be a real winner with some thought.
The front bar is ok. Usual big screen showing soccer.
Overall I'm glad I picked it now as it is still fresh. Can imagine it will look tired in a couple of years (some of the tiling & grouting was very thai & the cupboard doors neede ten goes to fully shut and turn out the light). Similar story to Galleria10.
The location is a winner for a short stay.

I looked into one on the other side of the river but the owner (a Thai living in Canada) said her mum & dad would be around to check everything ok. I had visions of threesomes being interrupted or an old Thai lady questionibg the stains on the rug

Saturday night and a few beers in, taking a break from watching football and with no bar food available at Citrus I've wandered down soi 4. Found this street stall opposite the pharmacy next to BK Bar. 100b for a plate of chicken & green beans in chilli paste with rice. Just enough to help me kick on. Beer available too.

Any up to date info on this hotel ?
It was mentioned (May 2018) that it's a major Chinese tour bus destination and was charging 2000b joiner fee.( Info from bm pointplace83 on the sister site.)

It's excellent and has been lb friendly in the past but I would have your lb dress appropriately.

Me now being post-op (but not in that way; calm down) I've got plenty of time to plan for future trips (pathology reports notwithstanding ) so was overjoyed to see this review on agoda. Anidst all the "It had a tv! Best ever!" (USA), "Desk people very rude" (India) "Towel not soft enough" (Malaysia) was Hassan from Saudi Arabia. On our sister site he would be loathed and reviled but here I'm going to praise him ".....location is good with 10 minute walk to nana st & nana plaza. It's a guest friendly hotel, you can invite guests to spend the night with you at no extra charge."
That's reviewing!

It makes thinking about a trip to Hua Hin. Have never been there.
Hilbert Space was there?

I used Bell in Oct 16. Easy and cheap. As OTS said they pick up at hotel (on time!) and then transfer to a bus. Didn't wait long at the station. Room full of single men obviously on cultural and temple sightseeing holidays.....
I think it was about 400b

😩😩😩Good idea to ask for a recommendation. You dont want to eat at a place that will make you feelawful !

G10 is guest friendly. The rooms are ok- the last remodelling was five years ago and it shows in places. The pool is a large bathtub but the roof area is cool and the bar does some good 2 for 1 deals. The breakfast is ok. For the price and location it's good value.Parking a car in the underground carpark is an experience. In two visits (2013 & 2016) I never saw the golf buggy work but it's a reasonable walk to Suk (if you can make it past CIRB!)

1 hour doesn't matter to me. I ask for and usually get decent seats at check in.
I'm curious as to why this is not available to customers ..... or maybe I overlooked something.
I find Thai Airways' various sites to be pretty poor.

I've been told the Wannara hotel is decent. Located between the two nightlife areas. Just checked on agoda aud 78 - 100 per night.

I had excellent results with apcalis from the big pharmacy up from Bully's on Suk.

The Black Swan does a great bubble and squeak (well,3 years ago)

The arrivals hall at the airport has several telco desks. Just pick what you want hand over the phone and the staff do the rest. You'll be on your way in five minutes.
