Looks good. Is it guest friendly?
-
Location is great but I draw the line at paying 100aud for a 21sqm room. If it was one night maybe but no more.
-
I stayed there and took lb's in and they stayed for breakfast. Booked for two and was prepared to tell them but nobody said anything. The walk to the lift wasn't that long. The worst part was the interminable check in & the bloody uncomfortable seat at reception.

Anyone been recently and can recommend a hotel ?
-
I've stayed there and can't remember! So I'm thinking it's not that great - standard bkk hotel gym. I took these off various travel sites.

The original one was in KoreaTown and they were quite welcoming. Probably because I was the only potential customer they had. -
Biometric Fingerprint Scanners at the Airport

As someone who grew up in England I've never heard of Fred Camo or his circus nor the phrase. -
My last couple of trips have been in the suburbs never going near Nana/Asok. I think a lot of us, not all, would still love to swap places. Enjoy.
-
You're in Bangkok. That's better than most of us.
-
Yeah. Lose the facial & the manicure and a couple of tequilas. But keep the blowjob.
-
Hope it all turns out well. Take care. Next trip is always better....
-
No. That was the first day of my third trip.

Fucking hell. Relax man! Have a massage, a manicure, a facial, haircut, ten tequilas & a blow job. Get a motorbike taxi to race through traffic and film it while laughing like a lunatic. Then go to CIB and organise a threesome. We'll meet you at Foodland for a big brekky at 5am and do it all again. Bangkok baby!

Anyone in Bkk in September? If, as I suspect I might be, I am single I'm hoping to indulge disgracefully.

I've stayed at @Mind three times over the years and agree with OTS that the one bedroom is worth the extra. It's a good location although the area has changed dramatically with brand new condo towers dominating the skyline. The gym is rubbish. If you're a fitness fan try Muscle Factory (a short cab ride away). The rooftop pool is tiny - maybe two people lazing around is enough. Still big enough to enjoy a ladyboy in though..... During my last stop (Late 2017) I noticed all new staff in rebranded uniforms and a greater air of professionalism but a decline in charm (also wall to wall Chinese tourists). Breakfast wasn't as good as previous vusits. I'd stay for a night possibly two and am now looking at Viva Garden in Bang Chak one BTS stop south.

Siam Kempinski has death metal - sorry, live jazz in the ground floor bar (although it's been a while since I stayed there).

Yes. Caught from a well known girl working in a Nana gogo. Showed up afrer I got back home and was quickly treated but the initial shock of seeing a red sore is not something I want to experience again. Told the lb and she said "oh the condom broke with one or two customers". She got it treated (at least that's what she told me....TIT).

Get in while you can. NEP & soi 4 will be history soon enough. Singaporification, bending over for the Chinese and just plain old property speculation will spell the end for Nana. This is good news for the adventurous BM prepared to search out his fun but less appealing for the theme park loving, everything on a plate basement monger. In time stories will filter through of wild nights in Thonburi - bars, lounges & guesthouses accomodating crazy farangs with fistfuls of baht just looking for a good time. And there will always be ladyboys...

For a two week trip the best option is a Test Cypionate injection every other day. Fast working. But....check with your doctor first.

Their desks are right in front of you as you exit immigration. The queues move quickly - just hand them your phone, passport and the cash you want to spend.
-
Yes timing is everything. That room size is just too small for me.

Using agoda Ityped in dates for next week for a king double and they wanted $167aud. With breakfast it rose to $187! For a 26m2 room that is fucking expensive.

Stayed for 3 nights (Th-Sat) in a 1 bedroom executive booked through agoda (w/bfast $93). It's new, the location is 50m from soi 4 turning left & a right turn takes you to Suk & Nana bts in a matter of minutes. If you head straight rather than follow the bend the alleyway takes you to soi 8. Check in was a breeze even though the desk was unmanned at first and I was soon up to my room. You need the keycard to activate the lift. The room was spacious and well designed. The sofa was large enough and firm enough to accomodate two doing more than sitting... Large bathroom, decent hot water although the cold tap came off in my hand! There is a bum gun. The lighting around the mirror could be better but no major problem. Bed was large & very comfortable. Pillows are soft. If you want the room made up there's a button to the right of the bed. Two tv's (samsung smart). The choice of channels was poor and the signal frequently dropped out for minutes at a time. My guest thought the wifi less than impressive too. Staff are great and it's LB friendly. They didn't ask for id. Breakfast was average. Egg station out by the bar. Usual Asian choices, some cereals, terrible coffee. Lack of fruit too. I was the only BM with breakfast companion but it was no problem. The pool on the roof is deep enough and ok for an 7 or 8 stroke lap but I noticed a huge overflow from just me. Don't put phone, clothes or paper on the ground when it's in use. Jacuzzi works fine. The sun is off the water at 1pm. The gym looked ok but I was too lazy to use it. The bar hasn't been finished which is a shame - could be a real winner with some thought. The front bar is ok. Usual big screen showing soccer. Overall I'm glad I picked it now as it is still fresh. Can imagine it will look tired in a couple of years (some of the tiling & grouting was very thai & the cupboard doors neede ten goes to fully shut and turn out the light). Similar story to Galleria10. The location is a winner for a short stay.
