Typed in Nana Plaza to Flickr (yeah, I was bored and it's a wintry Friday and I wanted to daydream for a while..) and found myself getting angry at the pricks who take "artistic" photos of lb's and waffle on about light readings and shutter speeds but title their works of art as 'Western sex tourist with Ladyboy'.No attempt to disguise the punter and I'm willing to bet no attempt to pay the girl for her unwitting participation. For the guy and the lb it's an honest transaction - money and pure pleasure. The photographer just some sneaky little shit hiding behind his zoom. I know some guys are lucky enough to be able to wander the world of lb's without a care but for others these type of pics (that last forever in cyberspace) could seriously fuck up their lives. It would be nice to see some sort of unofficial security discouraging the point and click merchants - perhaps a dip in the canals...lol -
What's ur fav Thai dish ?
mikel replied to creed's topic in Restaurants, Places to Eat and nightlife
I had grasshoppers in front of a crowd of Thai after I pointed and asked how much - he immediately handed me a sample and I couldn't lose face so......actually quite nice -
If you come to Sydney try Campbell st in the city, it's where the Thai hang out.Good restaurants, competitively priced (by Australian standards) and yes, you can spot an lb in the crowd most nights. Forget about Chat Thai unless you want to stand outside on the street for an hour waiting for a table.....

The last thing I am is naive - it was simply a comment, nostalgic maybe, for the days when a man could go about his mongering in peace. -

I think it's the laziness of the click and run types that pisses me off. Being an 'artist ' - yeah right, put down the camera and pick up a drink....and a hot little lb! -

8 full days in Thailand. Where to stay for the BEST ladyboys?
mikel replied to lblover1132's topic in Hotel Reviews
I've found that some girls will drop into step behind you and are then pleasantly surprised when you insist that they walk alongside you - treat them nicely and your evening will go much better. -
I stayed in March 2012 and again in September (three nights each time). Good hotel maybe in need of a spruce up here and there but still good value. First time I booked a bigger room with breakfast (special deal through agoda) and had a better experience. Second time the standard room had an old style tv and smaller bathroom. The gym is ok, the breakfast is excellent, staff are great and security rings when the girl leaves. The pool is small and on the same level as the dining room and not worth bothering with. It's in easy staggering distance of NEP. And was never charged a joiner fee. There are some cool looking suites on their website but apparently only the Arabs get to book these.

I stayed at the Dawin on first visit in 2009 and was well impressed. As you say short walk back! Good rooms and the pool is ok. Reasonable price too.
