It could be about the Africans milling about trying to sell stuff. I don’t think any of the girls bother any couples. I have never seen anyone do that yet.

Just say Africans were trying to sell drugs. Perfectly alright to me or the Indians trying to sell fake watches. It happens to everyone who goes there and they make the pitch. Never seen anyone go for it though,

It depends on what you call an early night. In your case it’s early morning. In my case I sleep around midnight.

I have stayed in Galleria 10 a few times. It’s was good for the price. During the day I am always out so never use the pool or the bar. Never had any issues and I always bring back from CIB. Citadines on 11 have bigger rooms but a lot of noise from the bar’s outside. So loud it’s difficult to sleep.

This is for real?

If I stay in soi 11, I stay in Citadines as the rooms are fairly spacious and the crowd who stay there is not that bad, The Ambassador is a good spot but my last experience was not good so had not stayed there for a long time. As you said the crowd who stay there does create problems sometimes and it’s not to my liking. I will give it a miss then.

I have seen The Grand Business Inn from the outside. Always wondered how the rooms and the bathroom is and how is the front desk and lobby?

I have booked the LK president and it’s going to soi pothole. I guess I will try to leave a bit earlier if I can.

I finish work around 1630 on Friday and plan to visit Pattaya for the weekend. Yes I could take the bus but with luggage and all prefer to take a car. the taxis hanging around the hotels charge 1500. Is Grab better?

I fly a lot on them. They have PE on some of their 789 and all 777. Service is good on PE and business class. Never flew economy on them so can’t comment. in fact I am flying with them tomorrow too. PE seats are worth it because the pitch and width is good. Separate small cabin for PE. Looks like the old business class. Fairly good recline. If you need to get out obviously the best is an aisle seat in the middle row. The 777 has 2-4-2 in PE. There is a foot rest too. The Inflight Entertainment is crap though.

The exact opposite of that happened to me. The 8th floor has the pool and gym there and now there is a sort of a strip mall kind of thing at the back and it was so noisy I had to change room.

It's a lottery too. Some days a few minutes other days massive queues.

Arrived in BKK and they sent us to a different immigration entrance as one was full. The other was fairly full too. Baggage area was chocker mostly because people don't know that if they get out of immigration and just stand there in a group no one can walk past. This is entirely foreigners and not Thai by the way. Especially people who come in a group.

Last year one time at departure the queues had backed up to the escalator. So as you say it's a lottery. I think doing away the landing card has also made it a lot easier.

I have done 5 flights between November last year and now. It's been a lottery. Long queues and no queues. It also depends on what gate you land and time. Mid January took a very long time. Early February almost walk in without the queue. The rest was reasonable with a bit of a queue but not unreasonable. With no queues at immigration the baggage waiting is understandable. For some odd reason staffing has become an issue all over the world and Thailand is no exception.

Yes the Chinese want to operate about 7 at least flights a day.

Today it was terrible in the late morning.

The turban was my idea. The rest I have seen it done. I couldn't believe it when I saw this thin guy I know who looked fat when he turned up at the airport. The funny thing was the security only asked him to remove his jacket and nothing else.

The best way to do this is to wear multiple layers of clothing. Yes you are legally allowed to wear multiple layers. I mean two or three pairs of underwear. A pair of shorts and your pants over that. 3 socks and two t shirts and a polo shirt over them. Grab a t shirt and roll it over your head as a turban. The rest you can put it in your carry on. Once you get thru the airline staff just take those off and put them in your carry on.

I stayed here early this month. Very good location and no extra charges. Asoke on one side and Nana on the other. Cib on the opposite.
