5 star hotel with live music

Can anyone recommend me a 5 star hotel with live music? Not far from the malls.
  3. How are the hotels near Nana? I don't want any long walks or rides. Anything in front with decent size rooms and friendly?

    Proof of Accomodation

Yes last week they asked me too. But some of my friends on the same flight was not asked. Basically I showed the email from the hotel and I am sure he didn't even read it as the phone was in my hand and he only glanced at it.

    Proof of Accomodation

Ok I got confused with the original statement as it said while staying in Thailand. So I was under the impression immigration was stopping people on the road and asking for proof of accommodation. If it's at the airport then I have no issues with it. Because the landing card itself has a column that's asks for the address.

    Proof of Accomodation

I think it's a bunch of bs either by the police or the guy who talked about it. There is nothing in Thailand rules to say you have to show proof of accommodation when stopped on the road. The passport information would show up on their system at which hotel you are staying. Many also stay in condos of friends etc. There is also nothing in the rules to say you have to stay in a hotel. Do you mind putting a link here as I could not find it on the stickman site. I am sure it's there and not doubting you as I simply could not find it. Thank you

    Suvarnabhumi Airport Services

It has a lot to do with Aerothai who provides the air traffic services in Thailand. But it's getting overcrowded and the slot coordination committee has to be given credit for maintaining discipline and not giving to airline demands for timings that could mess the whole thing.

    Suvarnibhumi Airport lockers or storage

I have used it. It's safe too. They screen your bags before they accept it.

    Cathay Pacific seat options

It's tight in EC. Maybe worth it to look at premium economy or the same in Eva Air.

    Sofitel Sukhumvit

I don't like the beds. Too soft for me.

    JW Marriott Sukhumvit soi 2

They start very early in the morning too. It's down right horrible with all the noise. Don't believe a word of what they say about not trying to disturb the guests.

You can actually get access from the basement where the car park is and don't have to go through the lobby.

What are the good hotels around Whynot? I mean around the 2000 baht to 2300 range?

    Carry on items

Hahaha. Good on them. Now what? No laptops can be in the cabin? Even if it is owned by the airline and loaned?

    Carry on items

Any passengers passing the middle East airports or Istanbul Airport to USA cannot carry any electronic device larger than a cell phone. So far no other airports have been included in this but may or may not. So laptop and tablets etc must be checked in.

    Carry on items

No it doesn't affect the US airlines as it doesn't fly to the gulf. But what is going to happen is they will start banning all laptops on all airlines. Right now the USA is hoping that passengers would switch from the gulf airlines to European airlines. But what they have not taken into account is that this could affect the whole Aviation industry. Boeing is going to take a bit hit if this continues. UK has been very clever in not including UAE and Qatar.

    Carry on items

It does apply to all airlines operating out of those airports. The UK has included some other airports in the middle East but none of the UAE airports and Qatar are included, but Saudi Arabia and Turkey is included. Already everyone is up in arms about this. British carriers are also affected if they fly from eg. Saudi Arabia and then onto USA. I personally think you are correct about trying to limit the UAE airlines. What will happen is that all other countries will do this too and eventually therewill be a complete ban on laptops on any flight. This is the height of idiocy.
  23. As I posted earlier the passport doesn't actually belong to the person. It belongs to the Government that issues it. So no-one else can change or pull out a page or cut a corner etc.
  24. Please don't do it. The passport is not a personal property and belongs to the State. I am sure it is written on the passport.
