Good to know. That place is also home to Tee, Lek and Pammy who all used to work at Guess at the same time. If you get up as far as I-Check-in hotel, you have gone too far and its about 6 shophouses before I-Check In.
Just after Star Inn.Hotel and across from World Inn. Been a few times and always took Tee as for a older ladyboy she as one of the hottest bodies around. Not seen her there the last couple of trips, which is a shame as she is also a good conversationalist and good company.
Here are a few pics of Tee outside where the lasses hang out

Could you inform about the better options pls - i would very much appreciate that - and i prefer a room with balcony . not that i use it a lot but sometimes when i come home in the evening i like to sit on the balcony and have a cigarette
I check Inn soi 2 as a small balcony and is close to the action.

wait im confused now. there is a hotel on soi 2 that was under construction for a while and they finally finished it a couple of months ago. heading down soi 2 after majestic suites but before aspen & solo on the left hand side. i coulda sworn it was called checkinn. if so, how can it not be new since it was just constructed?
When I stayed in Bangkok last September I took a walk to I Check in soi 2 to see if there was any major changes and only saw a few (ex) a new pool room and a change to reception. I asked if I could look at a room and told them where I was staying at the moment and I checked the room out no changes. Still great rooms for the price.

any ideas what the new one on soi 2 is like? im assuming its lb friendly and rooms would b tip top shape. they have fairly good prices i might book there. altho website does say 100% smoke free:huh:
The hotel in soi 2 used to be Marco Polo hotel the Monaco apartments. Not new like soi 7/1. I stayed there in March last year and found it to be a great place as it as a kitchen and a small balcony.
If your after a more new place you could try Hotel Solo I have stayed there and its ultra modern

I honestly don't know, as I stay here at the end of my holidays usually the last 3 or 4 days and I'm pretty knack red by then and just take one at a time.
Best option is to email them and ask if they charge for a second guest staying only a few hours

Eat there a few times on the last trip and like the smoking room pourch at the front, as you can watch the world go by.

Had a couple of meals in there over the last few trips while wondering around the MBK. Wish I had seen the Spanish stall though.
Only other Spanish venue I have seen was in the Emporium.
Nice find mate

It I was LB friendly back in 2006 or 2007 when I last used them. Though with the opening of many boutique hotels in this area, their are much better options now. Would be glad to see an update on the hotel if you get a chance

By City Line to airport today after , 15 min same normaly.
Changes on the 15th April.
-
It's just the express service from the airport to Phaya Thai that's being serviced
The local service from the airport to Phaya Thai is still running as normal. It is only 10 to 15 minutes longer than the express.

Very nice indeed.

Stayed for a couple of days in the soi 11 hotel and found it to ok. May have been better if I was staying longer. As it as all the cooking facilities and I always eat out. Nice view from the pool though.

Yes it's on agoda and the price as gone down for this weekend. But that's maybe because I booked a week in advance, as prices go down if not full on the day. That's the reason I got a pay for two nights at Citrus hotel soi 13 get third night free. What is the name? I wonder if Agoda has it listed yet.
Just looked on agoda and screen saved the picture for you.

Paid 1250 baht per night and only 5 minutes from the night life. Its just behind ramming lodge
-
Brand new hotel opened right in the heart of the nightlife area.
It's that new that the lifts are not working yet.
Will give a better review when I have stayed my two nights. But first impressions are stunning

You could email Mac Suites in soi 7. They were ladyboy friendly when I used them years ago. It's half way down soi 7

Situated on soi 5 and only been open two months. First impressions are excellent
Staff polite and friendly. Also guest friendly as well as ladyboy friendly.
Not sure of the rating but a five star service.
Room spacious and in room safe as flat screen tv, fridge large wardrobe and enough chest draws to fill a lb closet.
Gym and a large pool on the roof top
Price per night at agoda £38.00
