  1. Anyone have any experience of the Le Fenix Hotel, down soi 11 opposite Q bar, particularly vis a vis taking guests back, whether LBs of GGs?

It seems quite a nice spot with a good bar on the top floor on a lively street. Could be good to stay there, but not if it is not guest friendly.

I did a review and it's on page 1 OTS hotel reviews its right above your post. It may have changed a little since I stayed but still lb friendly. The last few times I have stayed in soi 11 I've stayed at Citrus soi 11 just around the corner and as only been open just over a year.

  2. I didn't know it had changed hands. It's a shame as it did great pub food. Only thing about the pub was after a few drinks you could forget you are actually in Thailand.

Me and a guy from the LB69 forum spent a whole afternoon in there watching the Grand Prix before heading off to watch England get stuffed by the Germans in the World Cup.

  3. The Grand Swiss pool is on the 7th floor. It is next to the restaruant, and it also has a poolside bar in the afternoons. The pool itself is kind of small, but it was

never crowded when I was there. You also get guest privileges at their sister hotel Citrus 13 on soi 13. As I understand it, they have a decent pool there.

The Citrus soi 13 pool is ok and goes in a U shape around past the elevator. Stayed there a couple of times and have also used the pool when staying in Citrus soi 11 the few times I've stayed there, reception at soi 11 just ring soi 13 to let them know you are on your way and when you get to reception at soi 13 they will give you and elevator card to use in the lift as you need one for the lift to work.

  4. Difficult what?

There are hundreds guys going in nana Área and pick Up girls and LB.

What are You afraid Of? That somebody (Who? What does he do in The same Área ad You, full Of Hookers..) recognises You?

Dont be paranoid, Just go and hunt. Nobody will bother to look at you.

1000baht a night? Try coffee and Bean, nearly opposite hahanrans pub in soi 4, but dont expect a large room.

Nana hotel has larger rooms on 1400/1600 bahts.

That can also go in the coffee thread as they do a good coffee as well

  5. Stop complaining will you ?

I have just read à thread about Arabic transgenders. Guys trolled the topic but . you didn't complain about it. Sorryamour sthat it bothers you that I am still alive.

I prefer to warn you : you've broken à cardinal rule for too long à time now. You could have apologised but you prefer to go deeper and deeper to the dark side. Bad karma. You'll be unlucky sooner or later.

As stated in my last post. You have come back trolling with your foolishness. You just can't help yourself, can you ?

  6. I felt like adding this comment anyway. given your nasty behaviour in the last 2/3 weeks,

You mean my valid posts in which you continue to troll.

Valid post 1) on soi 22 thread where you gave faulse and misleading information, after it was already shown their were ladyboys working in a bar there.

    2) where you on your own TR gave out the wrong names of ladyboys and when it was pointed out by Bully you had been confused with the names. You said you were not wrong. When in fact you blatantly are misleading Bm's again.

So rather than correct your mistakes you try to insult people with your childish behaviour. Which is prevalent throughout the forum when anyone disagrees with you.

I for one am laughing at your behaviour as I would think a lot of others are too.

In the words of Lieutenant George of Blackadder goes Fourth " He's as mad as a bicycle "

I await your foolishness and trolling in the next post

  7. From On Nut to Nana on BTS 9 minutes 24 seconds stepping on and off. I timed after Mardhi asked how long. Getting back is easy in a taxi in the early hours of the morning as its a straight run back.

If it's definitely Nana you want to stay you could try I check Inn on soi 2 with a little balcony and spacious rooms but they are not one bedroom suites. It's on my hotel reviews as is The Rembrant in soi 18

  8. some folks would try to tell you that comfort is overrated :P

Can't beat a bit of comfort. One of the reasons I have stayed at @Mind in Sukhumvit soi 85 in their one bedroom suites. Unfortunately they have been fully booked in the one bedroom suites the last two trips. So I stayed at the new Citrus in soi 11 the second time in a biger room. But still missed the comfort of the one bedroom suite.

Here is my post on the hotel that I did when staying there

@Mind Executive Suites Sukhumvit Soi 85

I have already posted the pictures above a couple of posts earlier the day I arrived. I had meant to do a report on the hotel there and then but with one thing another (drink & LBS mostly) I could not get it done.

Here is a brief outline. After arriving at 9.30 at the airport and I had not made an early room booking. I decided to take the airport link train and change at Phaya Thai BTS to the hotel in On Nut soi 85 It takes about 5 to 8 minutes walk from On Nut BTS to the hotel that is just inside soi 85

To my surprise I could check in to my 1 bed room suite straight away. First thing I noticed was how new things were and how clean it was. The rooms are of good design with a dining table for two at the far end of the room from the balcony Sofa (can be made in to a spare bed) and table with a flat screen tv & dvd player. Kitchen as everything you need including coffee, tea sugar and a kettle. Plus a microwave too. Its as a large refrigerator not a mini bar

There is a balcony with a sink to wash shorts etc after swimming or you can use the balcony to smoke if that's your thing.

Wifi was excellent in both bedroom and lounge room

"two flat screen tv's in one in bedroom and one in Lounge room. The same with Air con which was nice as you could leave lounge on low for breakfast in the morning. Rather than have to wait 10 - 15 minutes for it to cool. I was given two key cards and kept one in the key slot to keep the rooms at a low cool temp.

Bathroom as shower with a rain shower above.

LB friendly as I brought two back on my first night and one back each night after that for the five nights I stayed there.

Location. Well it's pretty far from Nana to walk but 15 mins BTS 37 baht and 70 to 80 baht coming back in a taxi

  9. Flew with them in March 2014 on a return trip to Chiang Mia. Bought a rice meal for around 300 baht coming back to Bangkok as the plane was late by an hour and half. The rice meal was worse than a pot rice (spin off of the pot noodle)

  10. The main draw back getting a taxi or limo at this time is the traffic jams. You are ok must of the time until you come off the toll road then land into heavy traffic and get gridlocked.

The last two visits I have taken a taxi as I have landed at nighttime and still there was traffic jams but not as bad as those coming back from Pattaya when I land in Bangkok around 1 or 2pm.

  11. If you do get the airport link and then the BTS by walking down the walkway to it. As P&G said get off at Ploenchit BTS. You could get a tuk tuk or just walk it as Hotel Icon is 10 mintues walk away. I have taken the same and walked to I Check Inn hotel which is just a little further down soi 2
