This is a hotel transfer I'm referring to. It seems a pretty similar price to ordering a Grab but without having to queue? Doesn't make a huge difference but if there's a bit of a wait for a Grab it might save a bit of time.

Yeah but I think an extra 100 THB for someone waiting for you at arrival, no messing around with the apps and possibly waiting longer is a good deal!

Just booked an airport transfer through Klook for the equivalent of about 550THB for when I arrive in BKK in a few weeks. No messing around with Grab, meet and greet service. Has anyone done this before? This is the best airport transfer price I've seen...

Thanks for the advice! Might just order my Grab once my case comes off the carousel just to buy a little bit of time.

Last time I was at BKK in June I got a Grab which came within a few minutes. Has this got harder now?

Does anyone know if the rooftop bar at the Sofitel will be LB friendly? Staying at the hotel and it's v near Check In Bar! -
Is Grab a good option from the airport? Don't want to be waiting in a taxi queue for a long time on arrival! It's been a few years since I've been to BKK...

Are the taxi queues long these days? And is Grab an option from the airport?

Think I will book the fast track. Can't seem to find the added value in booking the car too though - isn't it a lot more expensive than the typical taxi to the city? I get the appeal of the seamless nature of it but shouldn't I be able to get an airport taxi for 500 baht? It's been three years since I've been so memories re prices are hazy...

Hi, Anyone know what the immigration lines are like at BKK these days? I arrive at 1950 in three weeks time and hoping for a quick exit for obvious reasons!

Bangkok is one of the cheapest major cities in the world to book a 5 star hotel. You'll get great service at the Mercure too I'm sure but considering how much most would spend on their trip it isn't that big a jump to something like the Sofitel. Of course there are higher end hotels than this but just one example!

I booked Ibis for the first night I'm coming into BKK but Novotel in the same complex for my last three nights in BKK. Wish I'd saved the money and stuck with Ibis if it's so good - seemed too cheap to be true!
