  1. I have a trip to BKK coming up and will be arriving in BKK April 30 and leaving on May 22. My passport expires November 16, 2016. The passport has to have 6 months validity from what date? The date of entry into Thailand (April 30)? Will I be able to get a 30 day tourist visa on arrival even though the 6 month date will occur while I have it?

I tried to obtain info from Thai government sites, but have not gotten a definitive answer. Can somebody point me in the right direction, and provide a link to preferably a Thai government site to answer this question? I can get my passport renewal expedited if I have to, but it will cost me $200 US to do so, and I am trying to avoid that expense if I can use my current passport to get entry on 4/30.

    c. Ask the airline they will know

  2. been to i check inn 3 times . 2 times great 1 time the room was like it was in the middle of repairs. . i like it for 1 to 3 days any longer its better to up grade. stayed at the soi 7.1 one also by mistake thought it was soi 11 did it on the ipad with out my glasses ,its ok too but not the best place to stroll back at 3 am in the morning, those trolls in the massage places looked like they had just given birth and went straight back to work.

After reading the above article, something's wrong in the explanations given about the incident. The pilot explained he had been confused by a farm smoke near the runway. I couldn't locate the hospital under construction, but whatever the explanation, the pilot is out of the safety standards one can expect from such a a professional aviator.

yes the spelling varies i have noticed from sod to sot.

  4. nok air nearly lands on hospital in mai sod airport(cow paddock) yesterday evening. thai visa has the story and judging from the readers submissions it doesnt have much in the way of the basic safety devices. makes me worry as i will be flying there in 2 months. dont know what is worse crashing or the thought of a bus ride.

  5. thai air down graded to level 4 (Qantas, singapore cathay etc is a 7) nok is a 2, bangkok air is a 3, thai orient i think is the worst on the list and airasia thailand also is a 2. so why is thai air charging so much they are not a 1st world airline any more. its sad really i fly thai a lot only 7 hrs to bkk from perth
