Has anyone stayed at the Dawin since reopening? Planning on being there first 2 weeks of December.

I get in my iPad,phones, chargers, cables, medicines, documents, passport, keys, sunglasses etc . You can really get a lot of stuff in.And it makes going through security easier too.Instead of having to take out your coins, keys, metallic objects...you just slip off the vest and put it in the tray and walk through the check while they do the scan.I put a pair of sneakers in ,one time!
If you've got time before your trip, see if you can pick up a used one on ebay or amazon.
They also do shirts , shorts, windbreakers with loads of pockets. A bit pricey, but well functional.
I have 3 SotteVests and have been using them for over 10 years--never go without wearing one. I carry everything in the vest that I do not want to lose and that I want to access during the flights. I also haven't checked a bag for 25 or more years and my trips are usually 4-6 weeks. Never had a problem finding a wash and fold shop, and some hotels will do it cheaply.

One the reasons that I never use debit cards for purchases--only for ATM

SI often has good classic rock live. -
I added Rest Hub to the people-watching bars because they often have good bands.

He then proceeded to ask me if I’d ever been to Canada, which I had and told him I actually lived there a while and had been all over the frozen north. He then asked me what I thought about Canada. So being tired and feeling a little snarky, I said “ only two things in Canada - retards and hockey players”. He was visibly upset with my answer and with a menacing glare retorted “ My wife is from Canada”. Gathered myself quickly and said “ oh yeah, what team does she play for?”
When I first heard that one about 40 years ago, it was “....whores and hockey players”. Same answer—“what position...”. It was used to describe a quick thinker , eh?

I'd like to add a very traditional Som tam restaurant right by phloen chit.
Madam Somtum
888/19 Phloen Chit Rd, Khwaeng Lumphini, Khet Pathum Wan, Krung Thep Maha Nakhon 10330, Thailand

Sorry I didn't take any pictures but there are some available on the Google page. I have eaten here twice the som tam is excellent, made to your preference of spiciness, the grilled pork neck is heavenly the kind of melt in your mouth levels of tenderness. My personal favourite though was the Tom Yam pork bone, the creme de la creme of Tom Yam if you ask me, and here it is spectacular. It's a thai restaurant so expect a certain level of spiciness, stuffed my face here at lunch twice and not for more than 300 baht.
Ate there once and it was great, but sadly must add it to the list of places described by YB:

Maybe the reason there are no reviews on this site??

Yes, thats a King to me. Always good for doing the Amazons sideways. I prefer not to do Queens. They are 6 foot wide/2m beds - that is King size in most countries but not all.

The room details say "double bed". Queen/King???

And they disappeared!! Email, text messages, and other forum postings are not affected. I did do extensive troubleshooting before I did the OP.

Thanks for the reply. Nothing wrong with my touchscreen. When I type the post on this forum, both apostrophes and quotation marks show in the text. But when The the post appears on the forum, they have disappeared. Wont Didnt Hasnt. . I afded several quotation marks and I am looking at them as well as the apostrophes. Can you find someone to channel Steve Jobs? Maybe this is a design flaw.
Just kidding.
But seriously... the next question is: Is this problem specific to this website or does this happen on all websites. Pattaya forum excluded as it is the same IPS software. Keyboards are very simple and standardized across the board. If this happens on other website text input boxes it is probably a configuration or other problem on your iPhone. Maybe a spot on the screen lost its sensitivity to heat of your finger.
Remember those Apple Genius Bars? Is there one near you?

Obviously not.

Checking to see if the problem doesn’t involve postings from my iPad. “””””

When I post on the forum from my iPhone 7, the apostrophes that I type never show up on my post. Since apostrophes are monstrously (and mostly erroneously) overused, I have joked that maybe admin banned them, but since I see so many of them in other posts, it doesnt appear to be a ban or tech problem with the web site. Any ideas or anyone else having this issue?
Quotation marks also do not post.

I spent 60% of my 45 year career in hotels. Much of the time I had no choice in booking, and about half the time I had to sleep during the day and worked at night. Renovations were literal nightmares. The standard tool used is a hammer drill, and no matter where it is used, it reverberates throughout the property. Stay away when you have a choice!!!

I have used AIS and True. Recommend AIS. And be sure to keep your home country sim in a safe place so you can re-install on your return.

Change in what way ?
See my last post about my fat finger.

BTW. Sorry about the thread name. Fat fingered and didnt catch small print on phone.

Sorry, but "plenty of people" is just blatant hyperbole.
