yea there are places with bigger rooms but when i am only staying one night i like to be close to the action due to getting in late

i book online with Thai Airways have found sometimes there prices do vary between days of the week and flight times (syd-bkk-syd ) ,but there the only real choice for the times i like to fly ,but still cheaper than travel agents .
