    Thai driving licence

I have driven over there a fair bit. Any long distance journeys I did in the past would usually involve seeing 3 or 4 cars smashed up by the road side. It is driving citys that I have never fancied doing much of- outside of those so lopng as you remember "if the vehicle is bigger than mine IT has right of way" and "always expect the unexpected" from your fellow road users you should be ok...

Can you read english, can you say red yellow and green in english? Do you have the right amount of baht? Thats is pretty much it from what I have heard from family out there- and you wonder why the road are so strewn with accidents over there...

    Hotel S33 Compact Sukhumvit Hotel

OTS- stop posting pictures of your mrs for BM's to lust over haha Just noticed I never did come back on this thread. Can confirm this hotel was certainly ladyboy friendly when I was there- had a great bathroom with jacuzzi too at a decent rate in the room I stayed. Absolutely full of japanese though with massage joints catering to them literally outside the reception, but a handy walking distance to Darkside bar... For any people who are not fully mobile though, some pretty steep steps and no lift to get up to reception level- lugging a case up in 30 degree+ heat was not so fun.

    Hotel S33 Compact Sukhumvit Hotel

Has anyone had any first or second hand experience of joiners policy at this hotel on Soi 33? http://www.agoda.com/asia/thailand/bangkok/s33_compact_sukhumvit_hotel.html?asq=gmx6XWASoS%2bfGVIzJv4utropuZ%2bOB99JG90xhq71BVreEGluRehBSY67FM%2fpwdLuRgpjeDp9UxiDKSuwqrzj3apRgelxU7DdRH2dJ0l8vxc%3d I am staying there this coming weekend, but saw one review on normal hotel reviews site indictaing it may not be guest friendly. I have already booked there and would find it surprising given its location, but don't want a nasty surprise if I bring a lb back... I will add a review in any event after my stay so this thread will serve a purpose, but any ideas on my question appreciated.
  5. I guess it might be a bit of a worry, but remember someone you know will of had to go on flickr search for ladyboys first... so that lessens your chances of being found out randomly and if you are it will be with a 'ladyboy sympathiser!' You probably should be more worried about a ladyboy you have been with taking a picture of you and it landing up on facebook... far easier to track down especially if you piss her or a friend off and don't check your privacy settings on facebook. Wait for the day where a family member says... " So this ladyboy from thailand added me today on facebook..." Tru Trust me, there are a lot of 1 week 'boyfriends' on lb facebook pages...

    Heaven@4 (updated 2013)

I stayed here 5 of my 7 nights on my trip earlier this month. Location wise it does the job for sure, with all the Nana bars and dome decent breakfast places a very short stroll. I stayed in a deluxe room that did have a balcony, bud oddly you could not actually see outside when sitting on it unless you peered through the strange enclosure around it (the room was at the back of hotel) Rooms very quite which I appreciated with decent TV bathroom, beds etc. My only gripe would be even with all the lights on I found the room a bit dim, which didn't aid me waking up. Based on price and location you can't go far wrong- that said I feel the need to have a swimming pool on my next trip.
