  1. Menudo is great for a hangover(I grew up in Arizona and loved it when I was younger, after a night on the booze)! Seriously, are you talking about "slop" in thailand they eat fuckin' bugs fffs!55555
  2. Thanks for the link Youngone, if their Facebook page is any indication then they are still up and running, and I'll definitely give them a try in October! I can only eat thai food so much without wanting a change, and the owner was so enthusiastic and friendly I hope he continues to do well!

    Hua Hin hotel recommendations

Check out this hotel it's close to the action(soi bintabaht) and very nice and a great price! https://www.booking.com/hotel/th/hub-hua-hin-57.html?dksc=2&aid=304142&label=postbooking_confemail I stayed there last November, with my LB companion, and also 2 other BMs with their LBs! It was very nice, and not to expensive!

From one Tony to another Tony! I suggest Majestic Suites! this hotel is great and I've stayed there many times, the price is great and they are Ladyboy Friendly! Close to the Action for sure! BTW-When are you going to be there? If you want a wingman, then I would be available from October 29th thru October 31st! Edit-PM me as I'd love to be a newbie wingman! I had some great wingmen on my first trip, and would love to pay it forward!

iCheck Inn, Ploenchit Soi 2 (updated 2015)

+1 and thanks for the report Siam Man, about the "Chill In" room I will be giving this pool table a work out for sure, as I love to play pool! 5555 My brother (TerryBB) will be staying there also and we'll certainly be playing pool and "Chilling in out" there before we go out to enjoy the nightlife! The BankokLadyboy forum once again proves to be a great source of knowledge! Thanks again, Iceberg

iCheck Inn, Ploenchit Soi 2 (updated 2015)

on my next trip for the 1st 2 nights before going to Pattaya, it looks like a nice place, and a good location and price. Has anyone stayed there? If so how is it? I usually stay at Majestic Suites on my first night but wanted to try something different this time and I'm spending 2 nights in BKK, so any reviews would be appreciated. This hotel used to be called the Monaco(?) I think? http://www.agoda.com/icheck-inn-sukhumvit-soi-2/reviews/bangkok-th.html Thanks in advance, Iceberg

Thailand cracks down on Viagra for foreigners

Fuck em! This sounds like profiling aimed toward farangs! This goes on in the USA,also as most health insurance companies don't cover "ED meds" It seems like the establishment doesn't want us to be happy! I don't always need it,but sometimes a good dose of "Vitamin C(Cialis)" does make for a more memorable,Happy experience(for both parties). I really hope they don't class "ED meds" in the same vein as heroin or meth! As I am very anti these things! Iceberg

Aloft and Four Points by Sheraton (updated 2013)

cap, I really don't care about impressing my friend,as I just love good beer so much that this place sounds ideal! I will be staying in Pattaya for 35 nights, and have even thought of going back to BKK for a night or 2 and booking a room(even though my room is paid up in Patts)just to have a great time drinking the great beers! I'm a serious beer snob, what can I say I love a great brew! Cheers
  14. One of my favorite dishes on my last trip was Moo sausage ! But seriously my favorite dish is Khao Pad Moo with fried egg on top or on the side. I tried alot of new things last trip but still ate this one at least once a day, I'm kind of a boring guy, but I know what I like, and I like this with plenty of chili and maggi on top.

Aloft and Four Points by Sheraton (updated 2013)

Capcrunch, I've also been interested in the FourPoints Sheraton, not in staying there as the prices are a bit out of my league, but the fact that they have a bar there called the BeerVault, and it offers many nice Belgium Beers, and others not typically found in LOS. If I can get a cold Duvel,or Rochefort 10 there then I'd be in heaven especially if I was in the company of a hot Ladyboy while enjoying this delicious nectar. Cheers, Iceberg
  16. Get down to Pattaya, for a night or 2 and you'll see a different type of scene, bro you've got 8 nights(short trip)and you need to cram as much into it as you can ! Look up bellbus.com on the net and book a passage to pattaya, they will pick you up at your hotel and drop you off in pattaya at your chosen hotel(I reccomend April Suites, very close to soi 6 and nice hotel)but any hotel on their list is good, all for 350 baht ezy pezy! If you are getting bored with BKK this is an ezy fix! Cheers, Iceberg BTW- Pattaya is definitely not boring!! Check out soi 6!
  17. lblover, BKK is great but like a lot of the other guys have stated I myself would check out Pattaya at least for a couple of days(there are some real stunners there)and as far as it being difficult to navigate I didn't find it that hard on my first trip(1.5 hours from drop off at my hotel and ST in Pook Swan st room on my 1st trip) . I do like BKK alot but find it a bit more expensive, than Patts and I think the quality is about the same so I'd suggest going there and judging for yourself, get to soi 6 in Pattaya and check out SoWhat bar, Pook Bar and Horny bar all great venues and very close together so you won't get lost, baht bus is cheap(10 baht) and easy to get around on. IFO can't wait for my next trip(sadly 6 months away) and being able to check out Anaconda Bar(Guess Bar's sister club) and Baby Boom Ago-go in Pattaya although I do love Cascade and Guess bar in BKK, so many choices and luckily for me so much time(41 days next trip). Whatever you decide, I know you'll have fun! Keep us informed on how it goes! Cheers, Iceberg BTW- I do suck without a rubber as I can't stand the taste of latex in my mouth . Also don't be worried about being seen with a LB as it's really only in your mind, and you'll probably never see these people ever again.

    Thai Restaurant Rant

I have to agree SM as back home it's not the same,I went to my favorite Thai restaurant here when I returned fromm LOS and ordered khao pad gai, it was very bland and it gave me the "shits" .I haven't been back since, better to cook my own and I'm not a chef by any means. I can't wait to get back to Khosan Rd and have a big plate of pad thai for 75 baht as this was probably the best food i ate while on holiday . I guess nothing compares to the real deal.

    Restaurants

I second the opinion of Swann Restaurant as I stayed right across the street at Heaven@4 and ate there often, great food and reasonably priced, also for late night I ate several times on Sukhumvit Rd. between soi 7 and 9(?)as stated above it was really good food and must have been clean because It never upset my stomach.

    Nana Hotels open to tourists

Check out Heaven@4 a boutique hotel on soi 4, I stayed there and it was very LB friendly, since it is a smaller hotel w/ a gay manager I don't think many mainstream tourist stay there. I'm not trying to portray it as run down or sleazy as it's pretty new and very comfortable and reasonably priced.

    Heaven@4 (updated 2013)

I was asked to give a hotel review and am happy to oblige, Heaven@4 was the 1st hotel I stayed at in LOS and I'll definitely be booking again on my next trip.It is on Soi 4 just a few blocks from NEP and right next door to Guess, very good location as it's right across the street from Pooks Beer Garden a great place to eat,and also it's very reasonably priced for BKK I booked on agoda for 3 nights at $148 USD and was very satisfied. Some of the features it has are as follows a great elevator so no climbing the stairs drunk also a very fast free WiFi connection in the room, but the staff was the biggest thing that made me feel so comfortable, in the 3 days I was there i brought back 4 LB's and the front desk never batted an eye. Also being so close to the action I never had to use ST rooms and felt very comfortable bringing them back to the room, just a few moments away. Here are some shots of the room, hope this gives you guys some idea of what the interior is like. Also it should be noted that the LB master himself Juri was also staying there and he gives it a thumbs up too Enjoy the pics.

    Atm Or Money Exchange

Thanks for all the advice now i have a question my bank said it would change out my money for the local currency(baht) and mail it to my house arriving in 2 days time so I thought about getting a $1000 worth before my upcoming trip so I'll have some of the coin of the realm before I arrive  Has anyone ever done this? as it seems like a good idea but have never seen this posted. They assure me that I will get the exchange rate of the day so it seems pretty legit. This service will cost me $15US so it seems like a bargain  once again I would love any input as I only have 2 weeks to go 'til I leave for LOS.
