  1. The food and drink menu is on their facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/1500219286936955/menu/?p_ref=pa

It pretty much looks like standard restaurant prices for soft drinks, beers and wine; cocktails however seem rather expensive. I'll definitely give the place a try later this month.

Thanks for the link Youngone, if their Facebook page is any indication then they are still up and running, and I'll definitely give them a try in October! I can only eat thai food so much without wanting a change, and the owner was so enthusiastic and friendly I hope he continues to do well! :)

  2. From one Tony to another Tony! I suggest Majestic Suites! this hotel is great and I've stayed there many times, the price is great and they are Ladyboy Friendly! Close to the Action for sure!

BTW-When are you going to be there? If you want a wingman, then I would be available from October 29th thru October 31st! :)

Edit-PM me as I'd love to be a newbie wingman! I had some great wingmen on my first trip, and would love to pay it forward!

  3. I'm going a little road trip this year with some BMs and our ladies and Hua Hin is one of the places we plan on going for a couple of nights so thanks randandy69 for this thread and thanks guys for the info on places to stay!

    I can't wait roll on November! :)

  4. 5 star hotel along the riverside. Not the best location for mongering but if I'm not wrong it is guest friendly. I work in the F&B department so not 100% sure either.

I'm a manager in an F&B department in a Hotel in the USA, but would be interested in how you got to work in this field in Thailand?

PM me if you feel like sharing. :)

  5. I recently stayed at the i Check Inn on Soi 2. I was hoping to get the free upgrade as a repeat customer, however they were full so it was a smaller room than I had last time and no couch. I moved over from Aspen suites which is better for longer stays. i Check is about $15 AUD cheaper a night I think. My room wasn't ready yet so I had to wait in the Chill in room on the second floor. I had never been down to this level before. There I found that free coffee and hot chocolate machine like they have in the i Check Inn lobby on Soi 7/1. Also a pool table, restroom, and a room with a comfy couch and TV. Internet access which helped pass the hour wait I had until someone from reception came up and told me my room was ready.

No burners in the kitchen so no cooking like I was doing in Aspen Suites. However it was a decent sized kitchen which I used twice for standing sex. I had no problem with guest. In fact I had three in my room at the same time one night and they didn't bat an eye.

Tuk tuk was always ready to run me down to the end of Soi 2 or a convenient stop at Rajah Hotel complex.

I had a midnight flight back to Oz so I got a late check out to 5 P.M. for 500 baht. Usually it's 700 baht until 6 P.M. but they couldn't give me that because they were full. Aspen Suites was also full during this Christmas period, which tells me tourism is recovering. Prices are also higher than last year Christmas time at all the hotels I stayed at previously or compared.

+1 and thanks for the report Siam Man, about the "Chill In" room I will be giving this pool table a work out for sure, as I love to play pool! 5555

My brother (TerryBB) will be staying there also and we'll certainly be playing pool and "Chilling in out" there before we go out to enjoy the nightlife!

The BankokLadyboy forum once again proves to be a great source of knowledge!

    Thanks again,

    Iceberg :)

  6. Monaco Hotel soi 2 Sukhumvit

Edit: Hotel now called, iCheck Inn hotel

    Click http://www.bangkokladyboys.net/forum/index.php?/topic/3627-icheck-inn-citichic-ploenchit-and-nana/page__fromsearch__1

Monaco Hotel is located on Sukhumvit Soi 2, a short walk to the Ploenchit BTS Skytrain and Nana’s nightlife. The hotel offers serviced apartment style rooms and suites, all fitted out with a balcony, kitchenette and beautiful wooden floor. High-tech amenities, such as LCD TVs with cable channels, high-speed Wi-Fi internet access and DVD player, are the standard offering in all room types. The only thing I found not up to scratch was the saftey deposit box as it was to small to hold a 11'9 inch netbook, nevermind a full laptop. I will take the I Pad mini next time. The balcony was rather small too

There’s also an outdoor swimming pool with sundeck, indoor Jacuzzi pool, gym and sauna you can use at the Marriott hotel just up the soi. The hotel provides 24-hour security and golf cart pick-up and drop-off to the main road. I used the golf cart a few times and often phoned them from the end of the soi and Rahj Car park.

All in all I found the staff friendly and willing to help and met the General Manager who gave me some chocolates as I left a really nice lady.

Thanks for the review my friend! I'm glad I booked here now as it looks good, and close to the action + it's reasonably priced!

I hope to see ya in the fall(November) and will be buying you a beer or 2 for sure, for the info(or just because you're my mate 5555)!

    Iceberg :)

  7. on my next trip for the 1st 2 nights before going to Pattaya, it looks like a nice place, and a good location and price.

Has anyone stayed there? If so how is it?

I usually stay at Majestic Suites on my first night but wanted to try something different this time and I'm spending 2 nights in BKK, so any reviews would be appreciated.

This hotel used to be called the Monaco(?) I think?

  8. Fuck em! This sounds like profiling aimed toward farangs!

This goes on in the USA,also as most health insurance companies don't cover "ED meds" :(

It seems like the establishment doesn't want us to be happy!

    I don't always need it,but sometimes a good dose of "Vitamin C(Cialis)" does make for a more memorable,Happy experience(for both parties). :D

I really hope they don't class "ED meds" in the same vein as heroin or meth! As I am very anti these things!

  9.

icebergjr, how sweet that would be indeed! well you could always take a lb-friend there for a pint or two. i'm sure it'd impress your friend a little!

    cap,

I really don't care about impressing my friend,as I just love good beer so much that this place sounds ideal! I will be staying in Pattaya for 35 nights, and have even thought of going back to BKK for a night or 2 and booking a room(even though my room is paid up in Patts)just to have a great time drinking the great beers!:lol:

I'm a serious beer snob, what can I say I love a great brew!

    Cheers

  10. Capcrunch,

I've also been interested in the FourPoints Sheraton, not in staying there as the prices are a bit out of my league, but the fact that they have a bar there called the BeerVault, and it offers many nice Belgium Beers, and others not typically found in LOS. :)

If I can get a cold Duvel,or Rochefort 10 there then I'd be in heaven especially if I was in the company of a hot Ladyboy while enjoying this delicious nectar.

    Cheers,

    Iceberg :)

  11. Get down to Pattaya, for a night or 2 and you'll see a different type of scene, bro you've got 8 nights(short trip)and you need to cram as much into it as you can !

Look up bellbus.com on the net and book a passage to pattaya, they will pick you up at your hotel and drop you off in pattaya at your chosen hotel(I reccomend April Suites, very close to soi 6 and nice hotel)but any hotel on their list is good, all for 350 baht ezy pezy!

If you are getting bored with BKK this is an ezy fix!

    Cheers,

    Iceberg :)

BTW- Pattaya is definitely not boring!! :D Check out soi 6!

  12. lblover,

BKK is great but like a lot of the other guys have stated I myself would check out Pattaya at least for a couple of days(there are some real stunners there)and as far as it being difficult to navigate I didn't find it that hard on my first trip(1.5 hours from drop off at my hotel and ST in Pook Swan st room on my 1st trip) .

I do like BKK alot but find it a bit more expensive, than Patts and I think the quality is about the same so I'd suggest going there and judging for yourself, get to soi 6 in Pattaya and check out SoWhat bar, Pook Bar and Horny bar all great venues and very close together so you won't get lost, baht bus is cheap(10 baht) and easy to get around on.

IFO can't wait for my next trip(sadly 6 months away) and being able to check out Anaconda Bar(Guess Bar's sister club) and Baby Boom Ago-go in Pattaya although I do love Cascade and Guess bar in BKK, so many choices and luckily for me so much time(41 days next trip).

Whatever you decide, I know you'll have fun! Keep us informed on how it goes!

    Cheers,

    Iceberg :D

BTW- I do suck without a rubber as I can't stand the taste of latex in my mouth :P . Also don't be worried about being seen with a LB as it's really only in your mind, and you'll probably never see these people ever again.

  13. I have to agree SM as back home it's not the same,I went to my favorite Thai restaurant here when I returned fromm LOS and ordered khao pad gai, it was very bland and it gave me the "shits" .I haven't been back since, better to cook my own and I'm not a chef by any means. :)

I can't wait to get back to Khosan Rd and have a big plate of pad thai for 75 baht as this was probably the best food i ate while on holiday :) .

I guess nothing compares to the real deal.

  14. I second the opinion of Swann Restaurant as I stayed right across the street at Heaven@4 and ate there often, great food and reasonably priced, also for late night I ate several times on Sukhumvit Rd. between soi 7 and 9(?)as stated above it was really good food and must have been clean because It never upset my stomach.

  15. Check out Heaven@4 a boutique hotel on soi 4, I stayed there and it was very LB friendly, since it is a smaller hotel w/ a gay manager I don't think many mainstream tourist stay there. I'm not trying to portray it as run down or sleazy as it's pretty new and very comfortable and reasonably priced. :D

  16. Thanks for all the advice now i have a question my bank said it would change out my money for the local currency(baht) and mail it to my house arriving in 2 days time so I thought about getting a $1000 worth before my upcoming trip so I'll have some of the coin of the realm before I arrive  Has anyone ever done this? as it seems like a good idea but have never seen this posted. They assure me that I will get the exchange rate of the day so it seems pretty legit. This service will cost me $15US so it seems like a bargain  once again I would love any input as I only have 2 weeks to go 'til I leave for LOS. :)

  17. Anybody know about Heaven@4 boutique hotel on Soi 4 I've seen good reviews on other forums but would love some advice from BKK central I've booked for my 1st 3 nights in LOS but would welcome some feedback before I arrive (mongering perspective :lol::lol: }
