  1. Is it guest friendly?

When you take into account ST room hire it makes sense to get a hotel that offers this and you have the option for LT open then if you decide on it.

Yes, very much so... GG and LB Hotel has both ST and LT rates. I'd probably be staying there now but I had to go with where my school put me.

  2. PB Hotel just off of Soi 3. Go about 500m up Soi 3 from Sukhumvit. You will see the Bumrungrad International Hospital on the corner on your left. Turn right on that street (name escapes me) and you will see the hotel on the left side of the road. Last time I was there the rates were well within your budget.

  3. How far is the hotel from well-known entertainment spots?

The hotel offers a free tuk-tuk service to and from Nana BTS station so it's very close. If you walk it's only about 10 minutes. It takes less time to get to Soi Cowboy.

The hotel is LB friendly. If you have a friend visit the guard will escort her up to your room to be sure your were expecting her. When she leaves they call to make sure all is okay. The rooms are very nice but the internet sucks from time to time. The breakfast rocks (American, British and Asian). All you can eat buffet.

  4. If I get some time I may jump on that forum and ask that f#kwit about it not coming up when I click that link on the forum. Interesting to see if he replies and what he says. I would like to hope it's gone forever, but something tells me otherwise.

He's modified his IIS services to redirect the requester to the Google web site. At least that's where it's taking me when I try to go to his site. I think he's caught wind that the gig is up. If you want to get a "feel" for what he tried to set up you can google the URL and then click on the "Cached" link. It's not going to display any JAVA (only simple HTML).

  5. I'll be checking into the Kingston Suites this weekend and staying there for almost a month. It's part of a package deal I got with a training center I'm taking some courses with. The location is not horrible with regards to distance from the NANA area and Soi Cowboy. Anyone ever stayed here? Hotel web site shows some nice rooms but you know how that goes sometimes (what you see is not always what you get). Anyway, thanks in advance.

  6. Anyone have any idea if the TVs in the Majestic have USB ports? I have a few good flicks I want to bring with me when I fly in this Friday. Will be switching over to the Kingston Suites the next day so any info there would be appreciated.

    Cheers... RW
