E-Sim requires your phone to be unlocked. Mine is locked.

I never have gotten a SIM card in Thailand. I plan on getting a 15 day card. My question is when you get a card, does it include a local phone number?

When you get to your room next time, call down and ask them to have someone empty out the fridge. I never had a hotel not do it when requested.

I used them last year and I reallly like them. Good seat width and pitch. I recommend checking the flight at searguru.com.

When you get in line for the taxi queue, you select the type of taxi. They also had a second queue for large groups. That is what I remember.

I love my Bose QC15 headphones. Yes they are over 10 years old and corded but they still work great plus they use a AAA battery.

Conrad Residences is there long term hotel. Not sure if you will get any diamond benefits from the Residences. I would check. I have stayed at the Conrad and I am a Diamond member, so executive lounge is awesome. Great breakfast. Only complaint is I wish breakfast would go later than 10:30 during the week and 11:00 on the weekend. Free shuttle that runs every 15-30 minutes up to Ploen Chit station.

that’s not cool, you’d think they’d have your room sorted or make it ready if requested.Only time you get this is if you are staying at a chain like Marriott or Hilton and you are there highest level of status, they might allow you to check in early.

Avoid the Doubletree. They are still renovating and unless you get a renovated room and it nasty with tile floor with shag carpeting on top. Also the hotel smells of paint and other chemicals from the renovation.

I stayed at the holiday inn express at the end and it was ok. Room bed. Bathroom were all good. I had the AC so cold it was almost snowing. Only complaint was the breakfast, that is absolute garbage

I got an older phone that is 4G which is good enough but it is too old for e-sim
