  1.  Anal carries risk of injury if no lube, too vigorous. But that aside, unless frequency is very high, the risk of a loose sphincter is quite low( loads of studies have done). Of course age is a factor.

Also, the risks in medical studies ( which are not that frequent in this space) are relative and not absolute.

  2. Sympathies..

Cancellation on Thai has been a challenge ever since they went into a "bankruptcy process" apparently..( or so they say). changes are possible online depending on class of ticket bought.

Certainly flying older planes these days ( typically their workhorses are 777 and Airbus 320/330- based on range/volume -but still the most convenient non stop to BKK within Asia. I do think there focus is really Asia and select Europe destinations where they will occasionally fly the dreamliners etc. And Service also is ok..

  3. The JW Marriott , as said before here, beats all others for service in the area but as alternates go an old favorite is the Westin Grande. Slightly refurbished, but it's service excellent. Staff care for your safety but you are welcome to have the guests come to the 7th floor lobby and then you can bring them over. No one has an issue. Also location is even more convenient. BTS , and everything else you need at a literal 2 min walk.

    They also have crazy cocktails

A good one on thonglor as well but forgot the name

Next to Mercure soi11 is also good

Best restaurant in bkk 3star michelin called Gagan is also Indian but 2 months reservation and set menu starts at 6800 thb

Gaggan closed as I understand. He is doing some chef tables/stalls etc as I heard, and collaborating on something with the Suhring brothers.

Hearing a bit about something on or around Soi 15 called Varanasi (or Benaras) but not personally tried.

Frankly it always surprised me that there is no really good Indian restaurant ( outside of Gaggan's- but that was fusion and hard to get in) in Bangkok.

Everything on Sukhumvit even between Thonglor upto Pratunam ( Siam) is passable or below

The Lebua had a good chef for inhouse dishes. UK, UAE , USA metros way ahead.

  5. Westin Grande near Asoke BTS is around 5.5 k baht per night. 6.5 with breakfast. If you book early, have Marriott membership you could use points etc. And bring it down.

Great rooms, all facilities, location is quite convenient ( 7-8 min to CIB, 12-15 for Cindy's). Lobby is on 7th floor. So ask the girl to come there. And then get her through the access elevators or leave a message and they will allow her to your floor.

  6. Hi all adding to this thread. In July, debating between Soi 11( Fraser Suites ) and another property farther from Sukhumvit.  Since it's a visit after 3 years want to spend a couple of days just being in the city. If I had to choose between hotels in Pathumwan( Lumpini) vs riverside(bang rak) , which would be more guest friendly ( when I stayed in those hotels it was with family so didn't have guests.  Of course  premium hotels don't object to anything, but not sure if covid changed any guest rules there.

Don't want to book 2 hotels.
