Well after listening to them comments, it appears that the place is declining.
Its a shame as i had never had any problems like this.

I've stayed at Phachara many times, it's great for longer stays. The location is hard to beat, and it's in a very quite sub-soi while still being very close to the action. I recommend booking directly with the hotel by either email or phone. You'll get the best rates doing that. Skip the breakfast if there is an extra charge for it as it's shit.
I never get up in time to have breakfast, so i would not beable to comment on that however ple ty of othe food places around the erea

Yeah was considering citadines as well. Which one would you recommend for a 10 day stay, citadines or salil?
Also which one is more discreet? Privacy to me is very very important and thats why i usually stay on soi2 (aspen & solo).
Im dying to stay at pachara or dynasty grande but they seem like huge hotels and i would really hate to hear comments / have many people staring at me when i bring my LB of choice back to the hotel with me

If you just dont want to be seen walking in.
Arrange your guest to come up to your room after you arrive, but believe me when i tell you that no one will care who you walk in there with.
In that erea the best i have stayed is phachara, best rooms and service.

Citadines for sure.
I like the space in the rooms.
Have had multiple guest at a time and nobody even blinked a eye lid, however they do take the guest i.d.

Yes i seen it before but it looks pretty run down. Seems really old and some reviews mentioned insects & such in the rooms. Is that an accurate assertion based on your experience?

Never had any of them problems.
Infact, have had nothing but good times there.
Never seen any insects.

Salil on soi 8, is a great place with a swimming pool, smokers rooms and a great breakfast including guest freindly
Another one on soi 8, is Citadines, which have great spacious apartments.
Never had any problems bringing back guest's

I have stayed there many times and the best about this hotel is the location.
Close to nana skytrain, which is easy and cheap to use.
Not far of a walk to nana and soi cowboy.
Nice breakfast with a variety of dishes.
The best part it is, value for money.
Some people comented about the noise comming from the sky train however have found it ok no different that staying near the bars, with there music blasting.

Soi Rang Naam is a 5 min. walk from VM so the place opposite King Power should be good. I don't know of any ST places near the PT BTS station.
Would you have the name of the establishment please.

Hi all,
I thought that it might be my turn contribute towards the forum.
I arranged a short time with a now favourite of mine, however struggled to find a nice short time room which i like, rather than the dirtly broken down room in some places.
I came across hotel 99, which has been around for a while however to my surprise stil in good shape aspecially the condition and the layout of the room.
To get there from the main road, you will see the hotel 99 signs with the arrow, on the roof lining.
From the rear is accessed through the laneway out the back.
I found that there was no problem eitherway.
The room was entrance to the room was one the road level behind the curtance.
Once inside, i found the rooms clean with lots of mirrors and the round bed, with the fun chair being a special touch to the circumstances.
The shower rooms were good and pleasant to use.
I can keep on talking about it however i will let the photos give you a general idear of the place.
Would i use the place again, hell yes, i would reckonmend it, but that is just my thought.
