    No not tapatalk,,, i gave it the flick . Didnt like it. ... Yes strange , as didnt do it before and havnt changed any setting that im aware of . To give you more of an idea ,,,, " i can see page both under & above keyboard " i can see while typing this , but after about 6 lines it will go under key board.

    It does look ok from the pics. Just goes to show how looks can be deceiving.

    I think you did the right thing by getting out of there rather than spending your holiday annoyed about the room you are in.

     

    Yeah i agree , nothing worse than being pissed off with your accom .

    Just last few days ,, when i click on quote to reply to a pst using ipad ,, cant see letters being typed or what im quoting . Wont scroll up or down either . Having to click off the keypad to see what i have wrtten .. Fucking pain in the ass , dont have problems any where else . Any ideas ???

    How do I delete my account permanently? I keep getting mails and I don't trust unsubscribing will be 110% sure to dont receive any mails in the future... almost got caught by my wife, twice....

    great room for price althoigh a little small and perfect location

     

    my only issue was bed is on small wheels and that moved around abit at certain times thus increasing the level of difficulty

    How did it go when you stand beside the bed and the other on the bed ??? :P

    Well i can only speak for agoda so not to confuse things . Any rooms that say "residence" are not in the main building and in my opinion crap in comparison ."........

    Personaly at those prices i would take the suite if i had a companion :)

     

    The residence or outside building doesnt have lifts but the main building definately does

    Just be careful the prices quoted at maninarikorn are for inside and not outside rooms . Huge difference in quality. I like its location personally. Have stayed @ 4 others and its my favourite . Ladyboy friendly , good brekky . Its the block down from the main action , approx 100mtr walk up a small soi brings you out at the boxing complex .

    As the wotif mystery hotels sometimes off great deals i thought it may be useful if we share info in regards to identifying the hotels .

    Looked today on wotif . In may they have a 5 star hotel @ sukhumvit for 2500b per night . Says it has a three story roof top bar . After a search , this has to be marriot executive apartments adjacent to thong lor bts . Quite a saving over the 4300b the hotels own website is asking.

     

    Just remember , i have only made an educated guess that this is indeed the mystery hotel ( but this one does appear to be a no brainer)

    After doing a fair bit of online research into "getting the best flight deals" , thought i would share a bit of info here.

    Number one tip when doing regular searches for flights on the same particular dates is " clear your cookies" . This is because the online sites remember your previous searches & tend to increase the prices quoted for those same dates . I played around with this for several weeks to put it to the test and sure enough up went the fares after repeated searches for same dates were performed.

    In addition to the above there can be some normal price variances from day to day but no where near as severe.

    Also the use of the consolidator and/or aggregator sites saves quite a bit of time . Popular examples of these are kayak , skyscanner and momondo ( think thats how its spelt) .

    After recently searching for syd-bkk-syd flights , if i wasnt fussy about what time of the day i could get direct flight for as little as $640 return (thai) .

    But for me the 4:30pm arrive bkk and 7:20pm leave bkk was well worth the extra $230 i eventually paid ( purchased through skiddoo, who i found through skyscanner search)

     

    I dont use travel agents anymore for flights or accom , but it may be prudent to have one do flight searches for the same dates as well. However they dont get much money per air ticket , so dont expect them to put in the hours searching that the individual can themselves via online searches.
