Catch the train to Phaya Thai station and then a BTS to Nana is fine if you don't have a large bag or suitcases as there are no lifts at Nana.

May is suggest that you get the train to Phaya Thai station then a Taxi to Soi 6, and the fare is about 50 Baht including a tip. Phaya Thai has a lift and is only about 40 metres to a Taxi rank with helpful staff. Ive used it and no problems.

No NOT take the train to Makasan station its full of Thai taxi Mafia.

Thanks for the info it is an absolutely first rate hotel, and central to the night life. I know my LB would be over the moon a with this place. I've checked the Web site but cant find any info on the room rates. Do you recall the rate for the standard room?

I am interested in Hotels in the Hua Hin that would be relativity central with a good restaurants close to the Beach. I've noticed a review of the Ibis and seems great but I want to know if anyone has been to Hua Hin recently and can give any advise. Also I would to know if the Hotel is LB friendly, thanks

Ive looked into the Rajah Hotel and it was terrible, rooms small, electrical fire hazard and just old in need of a major refurbishment. Try elsewhere like Nana.
