  1. Anyone have a review of omni towers, they have some good deals on their suites but some of the reviews on Tripadvisor are not too crash hot?

    Many thanks for your time

Omni Towers is a great place in a great spot, only a 5 minutes walk down from Nana Plaza. I have stayed there a number of times previously and the rooms are great, the service exelent and even if you can find the same kind of standard for a little less one can still easily live with their prices if there are rooms avalible. BUT, when I stayed there the two lat imes in the spring of 2009, I noticed a change when it came to bringing in guests to the room. It used to be no problem but now they started to bitch about it, saying that the Omni Towers was a family oriented hotel and so on and making a big deal out of that I was bringing guests. It worked out in the long run, because I stood up to them, and who knows maybee it was all a scam to make some extra money for the night personal, but you need to ask more people on the board if they have the same experience! Otherwise shop around and use the great advise you can get from the board! Good luck.

  2. This is something that I just can´t understand, why do so many want to chop it off? Then they are surprised that a lot of their previous customers are not interested any more as well as their increasing mod swings. My personal belife is that a vast majority of us ladyboy lovers are attracted to the fact that you se a gorgeous lady with a cock. As soon as they do the chop they turn in to a bad copy of the original, and with it comes terrible mood swings and drama most of the times. Maybee I am wrong but this is my beliefe and my experience!

  3. Hello Angelo!

If you are walking down Soi Nana, walk past Nana plaza 20 meters and you have a restaurant on your left hand side that have good prized western food, (im sorry that I can´t remember the name).

Also If you walk the other way and turn the corner and walk down Sukhumvith one block, you will find Landmark Hotel, they have a pub down stairs with great priced food as well as a good priced buffeé in their restaurant on the reception floor.

Walking further down Sukhumvit, you turn in to Soi 8, where you find a very good indian restaurant in the first block, a great European/American/ Asian restaurant in the bottom on the hotel on the right hand side on the third or forth block and crossing the streat, some really great food in the Stable lodge hotel.

If you instead cross Sukhumvith Road and walk down on the uneven numbered side you will find a great italian restaurant and an Irish-American one as well in the second block. A bit further down you have a Subway shop with great sandwishes on the corner of Soi 7/1, and on the second block from that another Italian restaurant.

Turning in on Soi 7/1 you have a hotel on the right hand side with a great barbeque on their porch, exelent prices and superb food.

  4. If as the others asked you are meaning the Amari Watergate I have stayed there, or I guess used the rooms haha.. very very nice place.. as I recall the room was about 2k for the night. Very large room huge bed plus a nice little sofa, it is in fact quite close to Pantip. But also across the street from Platinum Fashion Mall which is a great place to buy clothes, for you as well as your someone special. Plus very easy walking distance to Central World and BTS, if you are staying for a longer period of time they gave me NO issues at all with my guest simply telling me as long as I booked a double room they did not care who or how many people made up the second person over the course of my stay. Oddly enough it is pretty good place to stay even if you are into the nightlife as stated the BTS is a very manageable walk or super short Tuk Tuk jaunt away. I have pics of the room somewhere but I believe they all have a girl in them that would not take kindly to me posting them.

If the hotel is in fact the Amari Watergate I have to agree with yfeverbkk that it is a very good place to stay. I have stayed there several times and have never had any problems with taking "guests" up to my room. On the other hand have I always booked a dubbel room or a suite, and reading this previous post might explain why!

  5. Hello Samotny!

You booked yourself at one of the better hotels in Bangkok in the heart of the textile buisness center, (in the first 15 floors of the hotel-building and it´s surroundings, there are thousands of textile wholesell outlets for shops and street vendours).

The hotel is very nice with a breath taking wiew over Bangkok, BUT up until at least August/September they were not so "guest friendly" to my friends who stayed there. It might be a problem that you can solve with money althogue, depending on who is working in the lobby night time, my friends did it!
