Just done the airport run to nana, easy as chips. Airport rail link to end of line, about 7 stops, 15baht. Jump on the skytrain ,which is about a 30 second walk away, to Nana, 25 baht. Total cost 40baht. Little bit slower than taxi and a couple of stairs to hump luggage down but nothing to worry about. I did it at just after nine in morning and no hassle what so ever. There is an express train that runs to Makasan station costs 100 baht at moment. Makasan is two stops shy of the end of the line, transport hub to be, but only one express train passed my all stopping train so unless ones timing was spot on and didnt have to wait for it, it wouldnt have been significantly quicker. sorted. Ideal if your staying in soi 6, off at nana hang a left turn into first soi and your less than a minutes walk from DG etc.

This topic came up a little while ago, perhaps on Pattaya forum, cant remember. But theres a fair few hotels in nana area that will not now allow 2 ladyboys in togethor. Somebody suggested the Wolburi hotel, which is a little way furthor up soi 4. Wether or not they charge for the second guest is another matter, seems to be all the rage now. Only LB 3 somes ive done was in the Nana hotel, but im pretty sure they were one of the first to put a halt on 2 lb togethor.

Any one know if you can use it as a storage device, such as copying the contents of a cameras memory card to its hard drive etc ??

Had a play with one and really nice, but I just wish they could run some programmes like photoshop or whatever else I use. Id still have to pack a lappy for my work. Im sure they will one day as tablet is possibly the way to go for mobile computing. Lovely presentation tool for photos etc though. Would like to have one but I shouldnt so I probably will.

Soi 4 on left as walk down from Dawin to Nana. Or theres one right next to Morning Night Bar soi 4..or was it big dogs ?......If you turn right at sukhumvit road about 20 meters. I think is where the landmark hotel is there are a couple of ATM bothes that have closing doors so you can get your pockets sorted out before you head back into the crowds.

Any one got any updates on Heaven@soi 4 Bangkok. Considered booking it as theres some price offers online at moment, but some reviews say rooms small, some without windows. So maybe like to see before booking unless anyone got first hand review. Keep it in mind for outbound leg maybe when on ground to check it out.

Not sure on that one, there were some hotels in area that put a stopper on more than one LB, Nana hotel was one of them, but rules change, so maybe enquire before you turn up with an entourage, might well have to pay some baht joiner for third person. Most of the LB in area will know the score if their upfront with you, ask them and they will possibly tell you the correct answer. Theres always the ST 'Hotels' in Nana. Ps: Nana area is a safe area, safer than most European inner cities and I hope not stating the obvious here but as you said first time to Nana, should you walk back up Soi 4 late at night or Early morning, and theres no reason you shouldnt, but especially if you've had a few beers once you've passed the main bar areas you may be approached by FL LB in Street, but don't let them get too close to you as there are a few who have very nimble fingers and like the feel of a wallet, camera or phone, and may work in pairs..............and on threesomes find them in the bars and not two FL its just more safe. But it is a safe area and I break all my rules, but on my last trip I had to bail out of a Cab when one LB I met near Guess bar II became an uninvited pair of LB and the Vibe was not to my liking.

Got skimmed in Uk. Public well established ATM no real sign of anything dodgy, but luckily bank was right on it and phoned me up within two hours of my cash withdrawal and asked if id made any charitable donations recently. Got cash back no problem, just a hassle having card cancelled and replaced. Can happen any where I just try to be more observant now, but it looked ok at time.

Normally fly Emirates to Bangkok from London, has a two hour break in Dubai which suites me as don't really like the 12 hour stints anymore. They use a A380-800 the big plane Dubai to Bangkok and if you can reserve the seat just behind the escape doors then theres no seat in front of you. Really nice, can stick your legs right out.

In any hotel safe I also use a pac safe.. Something lockable inside the safe thats obvious if tampered with, and accessed only by me, ie: not just bank notes in a metal box that others know the combination to. Personally I lock up everything.
