  1. Not that I am trying to argue for taking the blood test and then if all is good, fuck bareback. But isn't this how pornstars do it anyways?

The pornstars in the US are operating within a highly regulated industry in which everyone is religiously tested and it's (well, relatively speaking) rare for them to have sex with people outside the industry, at least without condoms. This makes outbreaks very rare.

In Thailand porn is totally illegal so all concepts of safety and regulation are out of the window, and I'd hazard the guess a fair bit of the porn you have watched might fall in to this category.

You can see numerous known (confirmed by multiple BMs on LBP) HIV+ LBs doing bareback porn, and they're none too strict about age testing either.

If you're using porn in Thailand as base reference for safety ... don't.

  2. So I recently talked to a non p4p ladyboy who was down for some fun. She told me she wanted to try backback sex as she has never tried it before. I told her neither have I but I prefer a condom. She then said that we can both get tested together at the same time (out of my expense of course) and then if both of us are negative, we can have bareback sex that very same day.

What are the risks of contracting HIV and other STDs even if both of us are negative. I know for a fact that I am negative as just got tested last week. She claims she is non p4p and never done bareback before but I won't know if she is lying and now many sexual partners she has had before.

    Thoughts? Advice?

Obviously it's impossible to contract HIV if you're both negative (it can't manufacture itself out of nowhere), however you might be confusing testing negative with actually being negative.

It depends a lot on the actual kind of test used to detect the presence of HIV but for a traditional test, you can still test negative for up to three months and during this period you are actually have a much greater chance of transmitting the virus to someone else.

As far as other STDs go, you should be aware that for many STDs like gonorrhea or clamydia etc condom usage only reduces transmission risk by something in the neighbourhood of 50% (estimates vary) so basically you're bound going to get them whether you use a condom or not if you have a lot of sex with infected parties.

  3. Invadeit is a good store for purchasing electronics with some of the best prices around.

As you can see, it's still more expensive than the west, it is indeed a total myth at least when applied to Thailand.

Lazada is also pretty good online store and occasionally has the odd bargain for some items which make the prices semi competitive with the west.

Outside of maybe Hong Kong, it's significantly more expensive to buy electronics in most of Asia than in most western countries.

The US in particular really gets outstanding deals compared to over here.

If you find something cheaper than the west, it's fake.

There's a lot of cheap fake shit over here which is probably where the myth comes from.
