  1. The one on Soi 11.5 (Suk) is better than excellent.

On Soi 13 there is one that caters to Indian tourist groups (major back room area). A 299 baht buffet, veg or non veg.

loads of indian restaraunts around soi 11.......expensive also......1500 baht a meal for 2 in one place i went to...I could get the same meal back in the uk for less...proper rip off IMO....

  2. There are at the most 20 thai resteraunts in my city....most are genuine, but a few are thai/vietnamese or thai/chinese.....some really good authentic thai food, but they are more expensive than chinese resteraunts, and not as popular.

The best thai food ive ever eaten outside Thailand was in Berlin...also great thai food Imbiss(snack bars)

  3. It seems as if I am logged on to Pattaya Ladyboys, can't log out.

Still get the message you are unable to visit the forum.

For some reason I am unable to contact admin. as msn.com is not recognised.

:( I seem to be going around in circles.

  4. Lenses 500 - 2500 THB depending if Plain, Bi-Focal etc

Frames 1000-5000 THB depending on style

Simple Lens / Frame Combinations One Hour, Maximum 24 Hours

Ive had lenses and frame for 1200 baht-after haggling them down. They started at 2500 but thats farang price,so dont be afraid to haggle.Disposable contact lenses great value in thailand also.

  5. In my opinion,Thailand is a relatively clean country.Anyone who thinks otherwise-go and visit India!I always brush my teeth with the tap water in Thailand-no problem.I only drink the bottled water tho'.

I think to drink their tapwater is foolhardy.

I drink the iced water from the noodle stalls-no problem as they get their water from those purifying machines you see everywhere in Pattaya /bangkok.But given a choice ,I would drink the bottled water.

I had the shits a few times, but I never put it down to the water,I think its been salad that was washed in ordinary tap water that gave it to me.
